Some of the cast from PUSHING DAISIES hit the red carpet for the opening of Planet Hollywood’s Las Vegas Hotel opening.

CALPERNIA ADDAMS, the transsexual woman Pushing Daisies star Lee Pace portrayed in the amazing film Soldier’s Girl, gets her own reality show on Logo.

Calpernia will be playing Bachelorette on Transamerican Love Story — where a bunch of men will be competing for Calpernia’s heart.  Unlike most reality shows, these guys actually know what they’re stepping into.  No big shocking twist where they learn Calpernia’s true identity.  Finally, some honesty in reality tv!  Transamerican Love Story will premiere in February 2008.

If you’ve not seen Lee Pace’s portrayal of Calpernia Addams and the love story between her and Barry Winchell, I beg of you to go out and rent Soldier’s Girl tonight.  It’s an incredibly moving and emotional film that can only make you a better person for having watched it.

This just in, Pushing Daisies is the Best New Show according to the Family Television Awards.   The awards were held last night in Beverly Hills and the sugary sweetness of the Pie Ho’s won out!

Episode Summary: A vindictive taffy shop owner (guest star Molly Shannon as Dilly Balsam) sets up shop down the street from The Pie Hole, determined to drive Ned out of business by any means necessary.

Tonight’s episode of PUSHING DAISIES will air at 9/8c on ABC rather than its normal time slot of 8/7c. Make sure your TiVos, DVRs, and VCRs are set. We only have one new episode after this one so you don’t want to miss a minute.
