Episode Summary: After a shocking turn of events, Ned tries to make peace with Chuck. Meanwhile, Emerson tries to get him to concentrate on their latest case, an insurance adjustor found frozen solid. And scent expert Oscar Vibenius (guest star Paul Reubens) returns, trying to figure out what’s so different about Chuck and Digby
I’m so jealous. What I would give to be the one interviewing PUSHING DAISIES star Lee Pace and Creator Bryan Fuller on the red carpet. E!’s Kristin Dos Santos got to do just that at the Family Television Awards at which Pushing Daisies won Best New Show.
For all you strict spoilerphobes, Lee and Bryan make a few small, not very telling comments about tonight’s winter finale. I guess we’ll all know later tonight just what they were talking about.
As the video says, “Tis The Season.” Here is the newest promo released by ABC for tomorrow night’s episode “Corpsicle“. I’m excited but incredibly sad that this is it folks!
Warning! The following post and subsequent comments contain possible spoilers for upcoming episodes of PUSHING DAISIES. Read at your own risk.
We might only have one more show left of our beloved PUSHING DAISIES until the end of the writers strike, but that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate on some upcoming storylines, right?
According to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos, Ned’s big revelation to Chuck that he killed her father might not be such a big deal if we find out that Chuck’s father (and perhaps mother) are still among the living? Check out this latest Q&A:
Justin in Malibu: I’m dying, dying, dying over your Pushing Daisies scoop from your last show (click here to watch)! Chuck’s father might be alive?! What about her mother? What can you tell me? That show is so good, it’s just amazing.
Kristin: Watch the Vine show if you haven’t yet, and then let the guessing begin…Could Chuck’s mother be alive? Whom could she be? All I know is that this is certainly not the end of Ned and Chuck, but the rest of the season is about as bumpy as my skin was when I was 13. (Translation: Not pretty.) There’s lots o’ drama coming their way! And yes, the parental stuff is most certainly the biggest root of it.
So Pie Maker’s, what are we thinking? I’m of the thought that Chuck’s mother could be none other than Aunt Lily, but what about her dad? Could it be that perhaps the father who raised her was not really her biological father meaning her real father is out there somewhere?
Let’s dish…what do you think of this possible scoop?
As you all know, PUSHING DAISIES is nominated for the People’s Choice Award for Favorite New Comedy. Voting for the Favorite New Comedy category is remaining open until the night of the show, January 8th. You can vote as many times as you’d like and the winner will not be determined until an hour into the telecast so that gives us Pie Hos a lot of time to cast a lot of votes for Ned and Chuck!
According to Ausiello, it looks like Molly Shannon’s wacky taffy peddler could become a series regular.
If you thought Molly Shannon was as much a hoot as scheming (and possible killer) taffy merchant Dilly Balsam as I did, then you’re in luck: I’m hearing there’s a chance her role could become permanent. That is, if this strike ever ends!
It’s Wednesday! Sadly there is no Pushing Daisies to watch tonight. Need your Ned and Chuck fill? How about spending your time with us, talking about Pushing Daisies?
ThePieMaker.com presents our first Pushing Daisies PieCast! From the town of Coeur d’Coeur these two Pie Hos talk about the genius of Pushing Daisies’ first 8 episodes. Which episode was our favorite? Which episode disappointed us most? Which guest star had the best death? Which Ned and Chuck moment made us squee and much much more.
It’s all here as Ned (dan.) and Chuck (Kath) don their aprons and roll out some delicious Pushing Daisies chatter.
