Tomorrow is the BIG day. At 1pm PST the final three episodes of PUSHING DAISIES will air for the first time…in the United States. The Paley screening sold out in under 20 minutes making it the fastest panel to sell out from the two week long festival.
DAISIES creator Bryan Fuller will be on hand to introduce the episodes. Several writers will also be watching along in the audience.
As a special treat Jim Dooley will be leading a seven piece band who will be playing music starting at 12:15pm.
I’ll be there bright and early! I can’t wait. If you’re going I hope to see you tomorrow!

Are you one of the lucky PUSHING DAISIES fans going to the ‘Inside the Writers Room’ panel at the Paley Center tonight? If so, I am beyond jealous. I’m here in L.A., actually. Flew in from Boston last night. I wasn’t supposed to arrive until later in the week but I changed my flight to arrive early specifically to attend the PUSHING DAISIES panel. But as it turned out I couldn’t get my hands on a ticket - I asked all around and there just weren’t any to be found. Devastated about not being able to attend, I made another (binding) commitment for tonight. And you know what happened? In the last 24 hours I was offered a ticket from three different people. Ugh. Can you believe it? Had I not made my other plans for tonight I could have been at the PUSHING DAISIES panel.
Such is life.
Enough of my whining. If you are going to be at tonight’s panel, please share your experience with ThePieMaker.com. And please share our best with all the panelists. To say I wish I was there is a bit of an understatement.

The Paley Center will once again cast it’s television focus on Bryan Fuller and Pushing Daisies. As part of the newly announced Fall 2008 series, The Public Programs at the Paley Center, you have a chance to be a part of a panel discussion with Fuller and the Daisies writing staff.
Pushing Daisies - Inside The Writers Room
Tuesday, November 11, 2008
7:00 pm PT
Paley Center Los Angeles
In Person: Bryan Fuller and additional members of the creative team
A droll satire on human foibles, a whodunit, and a gentle love story rolled into one, Pushing Daisies was certainly the most offbeat new offering of the 2007–2008 television season, not to mention one of the medium’s most deftly written series. Creator Bryan Fuller and members of his writing team will gather to discuss what it takes to pull off this most whimsical and original of programs.
Individual tickets on sale to Paley Center Members Sept. 10; on sale to General Public Sept. 12
To ask questions of Fuller and the writing staff, head over to the Paley Center website. If you’re attending, please leave us a comment so the fans can meet up and represent!
*For New York City fans, you can check out a sneak peek at Pushing Daisies Season 2 at the Paley Center New York on September 12th as part of their ABC Fall Preview night. Click here for details.

I hope you didn’t think our coverage of the PUSHING DAISIES panel at this year’s Paley Festival was over! It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to really celebrate the show, so we wanted to make sure we shared as much as we could for those of you who weren’t able to attend.
To that end, we decided to do our second Pushing Daisies Piecast Podcast - this one devoted to our Paley experience. Among other things we discuss some of what we learned during the panel, some thoughts on Season 2, and our experience with the cast on that great night.
Listen Online: PieCast #2: Paley Festival
This podcast has been posted as a special edition of the Ducky Does TV & Give Me My Remote TV Podcast. We’re also available on iTunes.

The divine divas from E!, Kristen Dos Santos and Korbi Ghosh, hit the Pushing Daisies Paley Festival Red Carpet and got the poop, the scoop, the skinny, the haps, the dilly-o and the 411. Chi McBride also reveals that the writing staff is on crack. Mild Spoilers coming your way!
Head on over to Watch With Kristin to see the whole post and a picture from the panel that has both Kath and I visible in the bottom left. Dorks!

If you’ve been following our coverage of the Pushing Daisies Paley Festival panel then you know we’re planning on doing another Piecast Podcast to chat about how incredible the evening was but we couldn’t help get some information up after all the emails we’ve received.
The Piecast will hopefully be ready for Monday night as we’ve decided to hold out until after our visit to the Writers Room in the afternoon in case Bryan Fuller and Co. give us any scoop we can spill to all the fans. Fingers crossed gang!
As we’re really trying to save our thoughts until the Piecast, we decided it would be a good chance to have some of our loyal ThePieMaker.com readers in attendance share their thoughts with you all!
First up is Patricia from San Diego (who oddly enough happens to be the Sister of my friend Jenny, strange but true) who attended the panel with her husband Michael. Patricia’s got a ton of quotes from the panel as well as some fun tidbits that the cast and crew shared. Some of our burning questions are answered as well. Ever wonder if Ned is a Vegetarian or if Ned & Chuck could ever possibly have a baby? Well, read on…
Second will be reader Erika with a quick take on what it was like to be a fan and aspiring TV Writer in attendance of her favorite show.
Take it away ladies…

The deluge continues… Here is a very brief video from the beginning of the Pushing Daisies Paley Fest Panel discussion. Hopefully the Paley Center will be releasing a DVD of the panel for sale in the very near future. We will of course keep you updated if that is the case.
