A PUSHING DAISIES Clue…

Pushing Daisies - Pigeon, Olive and Vivian

Hey Piemakers…Chuck (Kath) here. So I’m just sitting here watching “Pigeon” and stumbled over a scene that I didn’t give all to much pause to when it originally aired, but now in light of Lily’s big revelation in the last episode, has become more interesting.

(Olive is encouraging Vivian to read the message that was attached to the injured pigeon that they helped to fix)

Olive: You know you want to read Pige’s message.

Vivian: Lily would be so displeased. There was an incident . I read something that I shouldn’t have and then life went horribly awry. Lily never forgave me. She said she did, but, she didn’t.

Olive: Wow. Now I’m more interested in that story.

Vivian: [pause] Let’s put Pige back into her house.

Did Vivian perhaps read something pertaining to Chuck’s lineage? I wonder. You would think that since these two sisters were so close that it’s nearly impossible that Vivian didn’t know about her sister’s baby. What else could have Vivian read that displeased Lily so? Thoughts?

PUSHING DAISIES Quotes from the “Pie-lette”

Thanks to knickerxbockerz for the image. http://knickerxbockerz.livejournal.com/PUSHING DAISIES is quite the quotable show. There was hardly a scene that didn’t have some memorable dialogue. We’ve gathered some of our favorite quotes from the “Pie-lette” and now we want to know your favorite quotes. Feel free to add to our list. And don’t forget to keep a pen close by this coming Wednesday and jot down your favorite quotes from “Dummy“.

Narrator: First touch life. Second touch, dead, again…forever
——————–
Ned: I asked you to not to use the word zombie, it’s disrespectful. Stumbling around squaking for brains, it’s not how they do. And undead? Nobody wants to be un anything. Why begin a statement with a negative? It’s like say I don’t disagree. Just say you agree.
Emerson: Are you comfortable with living dead?
Ned: You’re either living or your dead. When you’re living you’re alive and when you’re dead that’s what you are, but when you’re dead and then you’re not you’re alive again. Can’t we say alive again? Doesn’t that sound nice?
——————–
Emerson: Words that sound alike get mixed up in my head.
Olive: Me too. I used to think masturbation meant chewing your food.(pause) I don’t think that anymore.
