Before They Were on ‘Pushing Daisies’: Ellen Greene “Suddenly Seymour”

We’ve decided to create a new segment here on ThePieMaker.com which salutes specific works from the cast of PUSHING DAISIES. Welcome to BEFORE THEY WERE ON PUSHING DAISIES!
Today we’re saluting one of the show’s strongest voices, Aunt Vivian aka Broadway star Ellen Greene. Probably the most obvious choice for a video salute from Ellen is her unbelievable turn in Little Shop of Horrors singing “Suddenly Seymour” with co-star Rick Moranis.

Thanks so much for posting this.
This song still blows me away, especially Ellen’s part. A great voice and a great role. She’s one of the reasons I love “Pushing Daisies” so much!
I haven’t seen that movie in awhile. I didn’t realize she was in it.
Wow, I haven’t seen that movie since I was a kid, so I had no idea Ellen Greene was in it! Thanks for posting this for us to enjoy.
I Love Ellen!
I actually knew ellen from this movie b4 i ever saw pushing daisies. I was studing that character and saw that movie. the very first thing i said when i first saw pushing daisies was that i knew ellen green from that movie!!!!
Mandy, I’m very good at placing faces to movies and shows I haven’t seen in ages, and I too realized it was her immediately. I didn’t know she was going to be in PD, so when I saw her, I was like “?!?!?!” cause I love that movie so much.
