hmmm, if the next episode is about ned trying to make peace with ned over something, then perhaps we get to see a big secret revealed in this episode. “…trying to take over ned’s business by any means necessary” maybe she has a secret to spill?

2. Ashon 28 Nov 2007 at 7:20 pm

sorry, ned with chuck, not ned with ned (that’d be an interesting psychological dilemma though…)

3. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 7:24 pm

Maybe Chuck finally finds out about how her dad really died?

4. Ashon 28 Nov 2007 at 7:32 pm

that’s what i’m thinking- only…how would chuck find out? i don’t think ned is going to tell her. i was thinking that maybe the taffy shop owner knows something, but how would she?

5. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 8:20 pm

That’ll be interesting to see. I don’t really know what else it would be, though.

6. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 9:49 pm

Ooh … yes, “any means necessary” certainly sounds like she’s got something to hold over Ned’s head! 11 minutes more … I can’t wait!!

7. Chuck (Kath)on 28 Nov 2007 at 9:52 pm

Ok I really hope people stop by tonight and watch with us or it’s going to be the Ash and Ashes show. Ha ha ha!!

8. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 9:59 pm

Well, Ashes is present and awaiting fascinating conversations. :-)

9. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:00 pm

Aww, it’s really not the Christmas season until How the Grinch Stole Christmas airs. :)

I’m ready to join the Ash and Ashes Show!

10. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:00 pm

as long as its the animated one…I’m not a big fan of the live-action version.

11. Ashon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:01 pm

for some reason, the grinch scares me… dont really know why.

maybe Ashley from a couple of weeks ago will come back…wouldnt that be fun :)

12. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:03 pm

Hi, am I the only Canadian, who just finished watching the eppy?

13. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:04 pm

Hi Ash! Glad to have you back! Poor Ned, not being able to play in leaves as a child.

14. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:04 pm

Ash, Ashes, and Ashley! That would be fun.

Awww … “Am I your boyfriend?” Ned is so cute.

15. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:05 pm

Hi Lily! I’m also Canadian, but I just got home so I missed the earlier showing. I’m watching it on ABC now.

16. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:08 pm

“No! Now, you’re dead”
I love Ned.

17. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:10 pm

Well, hi Kimber! That’s to bad. Have fun watching it. For myself, I am watching it again.

I love Chuck ’70’s look. I love her wardrobe and on an even more shallow note, can I say, I find it so neat that she wears the same cloths more than once, contrary to other shows where they just wear their cloths once. That is strangely realistic of PD.

18. Ashon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:10 pm

life-sized doll. another example of this show’s genius- who else would have thought of that and actually pull it off? no one.

19. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:12 pm

You’re lucky, Lily! You get to watch it twice in a row!!

I, too, love Chuck’s wardrobe - ALWAYS. Her cute hat and sunglasses were super cute, though. And the dress. Also - it’s neat that they wear the same clothes more than once. It *is* very realistic.

Ha ha … life-sized doll who was his real life girlfriend. Too funny.

20. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:15 pm

Awww…poor guy. I like that little speech Alfredo (is that his name?) gave Olive.

21. Chuck (Kath)on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:15 pm

I was just coming here to say that for the first time I hated Chuck’s outfit. Ha ha.

22. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:16 pm

Mmm … the candy store looks amazing!

Dilly and Billy Balsam.Hee. Only on PD!

23. Ned (dan.)on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:17 pm

I can’t believe they killed Chuck. Kidding, I have no idea what’s happening as we’re watching the debate right now instead of Daisies. I hope to hop on soon.

24. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:17 pm

I know! I love it. I could watch it three times in a row and it would not be enough.

The whole show could give me cavities not just Chuck. The life size doll thing is also strangely sweet in a weirdo kind of way.

25. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:18 pm

Chuck’s outfit is really far out this week. But Anna is just so gorgeous that she pulls it off.

26. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:18 pm

A studdering candy person… nice touch.

27. Ashon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:19 pm

oooo….look at the mean bittersweets owner. i hate her already (though i thought the stutter was hilarious). i think i know a couple of people like her..misconstruing people’s actions and words

28. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:20 pm

This show definitely could give on cavities!! It’s overly sweet, but at the same time I keep wanting more.

Dan, what are you doing watching the debate instead of PD? (I have on idea which debate you’re talking about, of course!). Tsk tsk tsk.

29. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:20 pm

Well. The movie Lars and the Real Girl has pretty much the same plot of a guy with a RealDoll for a girlfriend.

30. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:21 pm

I know people like that, too. I can’t wait to see what they do to each other.

31. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:21 pm

I don’t know. Her outfit is strange, but I love it. I do love retro outfits thought, as long as they don’t go farther than the ’70’s, but that’s me and apparently Chuck.

32. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:22 pm

lights out on the store…nice touch.

33. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:23 pm

The Pie Ho. Ha ha ha. Also, the dog who plays Digby is an awesome actor! Dogactor? Dogtor? No, that’s wrong…

34. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:24 pm

Pie Ho. The mean Nelson, from The Simpson, in me is going Ha! Ha!

35. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:26 pm

Shut down the Pie Hole?! No, no, no.

36. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:27 pm

I totally heard Anna’s accent when she was talking to Olive. lol

37. Ashon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:27 pm

evil!!!

38. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:28 pm

Ooh, that Dilly is NASTY!

39. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:28 pm

The birds! The birds!

40. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:29 pm

An evil bitch, that’s what I would call her if it wasn’t disrepectful of digby’s mother.

41. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:29 pm

In Chuck’s words…she’s a ….witch.

42. Chuck (Kath)on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:30 pm

Rockerbaby, I hear hints of her accents occasionally, too. Bravo to Molly Shannon - she’s fantastic.

43. Brittonon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:32 pm

I freaking love this show. I can’t believe there’s just one episode left after this.

44. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:33 pm

Molly Shannon plays a fantastic strange witch. I loved her in Will and Grace and SNL.

I can’t say I hear Anna’s accent. Sad, because british accent is my favorite.

45. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:34 pm

OMG Olive and Chuck in those outfits, hats, backpacks, and HEELS!

46. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:34 pm

Wow, the girls wearing pants… we don’t see that often.

47. Chuck (Kath)on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:35 pm

Ha ha ha ha ha!!! I love that she ran head first into the door. Insane! I love Olive and Chuck’s friendship.
DON’T MESS WITH THE PIE HOS (will be a t-shirt in the store tomorrow).

48. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:35 pm

“Don’t mess with the Pie Hos”!!! LOVE IT!

49. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:35 pm

Did they just say “Don’t mess with the Pie Hos?”

50. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:36 pm

Chuck is so cute when she says cool. The Bad girl look suits her too.

51. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:37 pm

Lily - I love it when Chuck says “cool”. She’s definitely cute when she says lots of things!!

52. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:38 pm

My poor sad Ned. Why can life let Ned be simply happy?

53. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:38 pm

THAT IS NOT GOOD. And now they can’t revive him to find out who REALLY did it.

54. Brittonon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:39 pm

Uh oh.

Hmm, Dilly arrived at that conclusion awfully quick…

55. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:40 pm

Oh no, Ned! That doesn’t look good for you. I’ll bet Dilly killed her brother to frame Ned. Seems really drastic, but she strikes me as *that* evil.

56. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:41 pm

I wouldn’t be surprised, but I’m not convinced she’s the epitome of evil yet.

57. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:41 pm

Yeah. I don’t mean to be a nit-picker for the accent. But that’s like…what I do. Hahaha. The only reason I figured out that I liked the movie August Rush was because I forgot to listen for the kid’s accent. lol

58. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:43 pm

Hey, Ned in something other than black or grey…too bad it’s because he’s in prison.

59. MuseumGirlon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:43 pm

Did anyone catch Olive’s quote earlier? Something about an alternate universe where something else would suck? It was funny, I want to save it.

60. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:44 pm

HA HA Olive. Kristin rocks. AND DIGBY!

61. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:44 pm

Kimber, it’s killing me that you guys don’t know, but that I do know who did.

Emerson nearly fried Ned *Wagging my finger at him, while huging Olive.*

62. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:47 pm

ACK! Lily, I wouldn’t want to be in your position! But we’ll know soon enough.

63. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:50 pm

NO Olive!! “Oh, crap”. I love her.

64. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 10:51 pm

And that’s the problem with being so compact, Olive.

65. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:51 pm

I love that Dilly is wearing mittens and not gloves. :-)

66. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:51 pm

Yes, you will know soon. Thanks god.

This week even the way they solve the crime is technically sweet.

Chuck knows way too many things about too many things.

67. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:53 pm

now now now, don’t give us TOO many hints. I know it’s hard not to share, but we’re almost there! :-)

68. Angelon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:54 pm

Part of the quote was “Wouldn’t it just rock n roll if liking somone meant them liking you back.” I think its probably not word for word. If there are any corrections please let me.

69. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:55 pm

I am not giving hints. Don’t worry Ashes, I wouldn’t. I was talking about the candy they are using to get finger prints. Sorry if I worried you!

70. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:56 pm

She’s got TEN fingers? Then … who?

Trunk Monkey … HA HA HA.

71. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:57 pm

Now everyone knows. I feel better. That was so clever. I didn’t see it coming and that does not happen often on PD.

72. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 10:58 pm

LOL. Hey now, here’s a sweet Emerson moment.

73. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:59 pm

Aww … Olive and Alfredo!

74. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 10:59 pm

Oh wait … not real. Damn this show and its dream sequences.

75. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:00 pm

Is Olive going to move on, finally? I hope so…Alfredo loves her so much. :-)

76. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:00 pm

At least, Olive finally can see who her prince charming is. A great step in the right direction.

77. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:01 pm

NOOOOOO!!!

78. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:01 pm

I am so mad at NEd right now! lol

79. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:01 pm

NO NO NO NO NO…I thought he wasn’t going to tell her!?!

80. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:02 pm

NOOOOOOO! Shut up Ned! Poor Chuck, she is all alone now. Noooooo!!!

81. Chuck (Kath)on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:02 pm

WOW, wasn’t expecting that ending.

82. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:02 pm

Wait…we have to wait TWO WEEKS AGAIN!? Why?!?!

83. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:04 pm

Two more weeks until the last (??) episode? That’s just not right.

84. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:05 pm

Why’d he have to phrase it like that anyway?! Why not, “I was RESPONSIBLE for your father’s death”? It doesn’t sound as bad that way!

85. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:05 pm

Two weeks is a long time, yes, but at least it will last longer this way. I don’t know what I will do if they don’t come back in February.

My mind is reeling. I hope, there will be sneek peak to hold me, till then.

86. Brittonon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:05 pm

NO!!! This is awful :(

87. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:05 pm

They’re trying to torture us again, I think. I don’t think I can survive next week without it, but then again, it stretches the season another week

88. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:07 pm

Or how about “I inadvertantly triggered your dad’s death” that sounds sufficiently Ned-ish. You don’t just tell your girlfriend you killed her father. She’s pretty understanding, so I hope she realizes he didn’t do it on purpose.

89. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:07 pm

The last time there was a two week stretch, I watched all the old episodes online multiple times. Looks like I’ll be doing that again.

90. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:08 pm

Haha. I think the word “inadvertantly” in a sentence like that is kind of humorous. I like it, Ashes.

91. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:10 pm

Stretching is good! It give me a treat to wait on for. No more eppies after that, well, that’s not good. Please make the writers be heard, and let us all enjoy more PD.

Rocker, the phrasing is bad, but at least he is being completly honest. He just reaped the bandage, holding nothing back. That’s always that.

92. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:10 pm

It would have sounded nicer than “I killed your dad”

93. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:12 pm

He didn’t really KILL her dad, though. He just set the events in motion that caused his untimely demise. It’s not like he meant to do it, or even knew it would happen.

94. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:12 pm

Yes, I’ll be rewatching all of the episodes again too. It helps to pass the looooooooooooong two weeks.

“I killed your dad” sounds horrible! NED! How about you “accidentally involuntarily manslaughtered her dad?”

95. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:13 pm

Kill sounds bad, but don’t you all think that when it comes right down to it, that’s what he did. Not on purpose, but he did.

96. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:16 pm

Not really. He had no idea it would happen. He didn’t see the squirrel die when Digby came back to life, so he had no way to know that would happen.

97. Raeon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:17 pm

It wasn’t meant to sound nice. Kinda the point I think. I like that it was so direct. I didn’t really want Chuck to find out so soon, though, but it really does fit Ned’s character as we know it so I kind of admire that they did it.

There were several quotes there at the end that I loved but I can’t remember them now! Guess I’ll have to force myself to watch it again. ;)

I also like that we have to wait two weeks for the new episode. I mean, I don’t really like it but that means all of our new episodes won’t be gone as of next week.

98. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:17 pm

Yes, that’s true Ashes, he didn’t KILL her dad. When he explains it to her she’ll understand. It’s not like he understood about the “I bring someone back for more than 1 min and another person dies” concept yet.

99. Lauraon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:19 pm

“An attractive man who makes pies for a living shouldn’t even spend a short amount of time in prison.”

100. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:19 pm

She said something during tonights episode that makes me think she’ll understand eventually, once she gets over the original shock. I can’t remember what it was, but it was at the beginning of the episode.

101. Raeon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:19 pm

Oh, wait, I do remember this one, “A relatively attractive man who makes pies should not spend any time in prison.”

102. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:20 pm

Was it just me, or was there the shadow of male genitalia in the pie Olive took to Ned?

103. Raeon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:21 pm

It’s kinda weird how they did the doll thing right around the time that Lars and the Real Girl is out as well. Do the people on this show have any connection to that movie or was it just a weird coincidence?

104. Raeon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:22 pm

Laura, I should have read up thread before posting… that’s the quote!

105. Kimberon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:23 pm

Ashes - I thought it was a gun and bullets baked into the pie.

106. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:24 pm

LOL. Okay, that makes more sense.

107. Brookeon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:25 pm

Maybe the two week stretch will (if the strike talks come to a happy conclusion) give them time to write/shoot more episodes? Is that even possible at this point?

108. Raeon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:27 pm

Brooke, it will give them time to write and shoot episodes but we won’t see them for a while… especially with the holidays approaching and people being off for time during them.

109. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:27 pm

Ned didn’t know, but the fact that it was an accident doesn’t stop it from being his fault that Chuck’s dad died. It was an accident, like a car accident and those people are still judged for murder. Chuck will understand eventualy. She loves Ned too much, she is too grateful to him and she is too good of a person not to. I would give her a few months of profond trauma though.

110. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:28 pm

Rae - I made a mention of that movie higher up. I was thinking the same thing. :)

And yeah. “Special filling” is prision lingo for “something to help you break out”. That’s why he got all freaked out. lol

111. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:28 pm

We’ll keep our fingers crossed that everything gets resolved for the best soon. I’ll miss my weekly dose of the bright and colorful world of the Pie Hole.

112. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:29 pm

So it’s still possible to have a full season if we are realy and I mean really lucky?

113. maryon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:30 pm

did anyone catch what alfredo said to olive about love adapting? i know the quote was kind of long but it was also kind of beautiful

114. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:31 pm

I loved how it perfectly mirrored what Ned feels for Chuck, but I don’t remember what it was.

115. Raeon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:41 pm

Ooh, sorry Rockerbaby, I skimmed some of the comments at the top because they were made while I was still watching the show but I should have gone back up to see if anyone mentioned it. :)

Lily: It’s possible to get a somewhat full season. They may have to cut back one or two episodes. The longer the strike goes on, the less episodes we’ll get.

116. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:42 pm

Favorite quotes. That’s hard, there’s so many and most I can’t say by heart. For now, I’ll say “Don’t mess with the Pie hoes!” That was a very good one and “Go lieing or at least yay to not telling the true.” was funny to.

117. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:44 pm

Oh, that’s fine Rae. I didn’t actually SAY what I was thinking. I just responded to someone else saying how the life-size doll thing was really original, which it is, but I felt someone should mention that brilliant movie.

118. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:48 pm

Thanks, Rae. That gives me hope. I’ll just pray that the writers will get what is rightfully theirs, till then.

Dear Santa, what I want for christmas this year is a “as close as possible” full season of PD. I have been a very good girl, and I enclose some cookies for you in the hope that you will give coal to all those greedy producers.

P.S.: Those cookies could be upgraded to pies if you do something worse to those greedy pigs.

Love and kisses
Leïla

119. Asheson 28 Nov 2007 at 11:51 pm

If that letter doesn’t sway Santa to our way of thinking, Lily, I don’t know what will. :-) Tell him I’ll throw in a batch of my homemade truffles, too.

120. Lilyon 28 Nov 2007 at 11:58 pm

Mmm, homemade truffles…Will do, Ashes. I have a feeling Santa would want more PD too. After all, he is so much like the piemaker. He brought back some kids to life and he loves sweet. I tell you, Santa is a fan of PD, and he won’t want it to go, but I’m sure some sweet bribes might give him the right push to help us.

121. rockerbabyfi12on 28 Nov 2007 at 11:58 pm

Hahahaha Lily. I love it. LOVE IT.

And can I throw in right here that I’m having a completely unrelated IM conversation right now and I told me friend that I would kill her in some various joking way. And she asked who I’d eat dinner with every night. And so I TOLD her that I’d just call abc, and get in touch with Lee Pace. He’d come touch her and she’d be just fine. Some people just don’t get it. Psh. *rolls eyes*

*Insert disclaimer of “I’m not insane I know he’s a character” here*

122. Asheson 29 Nov 2007 at 12:02 am

LOL. I understand completely. You’re amoung friends. We’ll just call this the Pushing Daisies Addiction Support Group. (PDASG)

123. rockerbabyfi12on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:06 am

Hahaha. Awesome, Ashes. Good to know.

124. Death is my Gifton 29 Nov 2007 at 12:07 am

Hi, I’m Jessa. Found this place from thePieHole community on Livejournal. Here are my two favorite quotes from tonight’s episode:

Emerson - “No see, this is how it all ends. Some weird guy comes in saying stuff that don’t make no sense and by the time your head realizes ‘hey this weird guy don’t make no sense’ your guts are all over the window.”

Olive - “….from the pie hole across the street as in ’shut your’ but one sweet whiff and people usually wanna ‘open their’.”

Enjoy.

125. Ned (dan.)on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:07 am

Starting now…

The leaves were a wonderful touch.

Am I the only one or does everyone love Alfredo and Olive’s banter.

Love Mike White, Chuck & Buck suck and…

126. Ned (dan.)on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:08 am

Lars and the Real Girl much?

127. Lilyon 29 Nov 2007 at 12:08 am

You mean that Lee Pace, can’t actully bring back the death to life? *Goes join Chuck, in her not so lonely anymore trauma*

Happy that you like my letter though. *Goes back to zooming the cold streets with no real purpose*

128. Asheson 29 Nov 2007 at 12:10 am

I loved the leaves. And where on earth is Chuck going to go? I wonder if she’ll try to go back to her Aunts. I’m wondering if they ever find out she’s back alive.

129. Lilyon 29 Nov 2007 at 12:16 am

The aunts will find out when the need for dram arise (which is not now). I am scared that Chuck will follow the smelly man and tell him her secret. This could go back to bit her and Ned’s too pretty butts.

130. Asheson 29 Nov 2007 at 12:20 am

yeah it could be bad. I hope she resists the urge to spill her story.

131. Chris B.on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:20 am

I think this show is awesome!!! Thanks Ashes, really needed something else to get addicted to. lmao I’m already wondering how they’re going to do the finale.

132. Asheson 29 Nov 2007 at 12:21 am

No problem. I’m glad to add another Pushing Daisies Addict.

133. Chris B.on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:23 am

So, what do you think will happen? Will Chuck accidentally touch Ned?

134. Chris B.on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:28 am

Obviously this will be a secret for the episode and will probably never occur.

135. Chris B.on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:29 am

show not episode

136. Lilyon 29 Nov 2007 at 12:31 am

Unless Anna gets tired of playing in serie or something, I don’t think Chuck will touch Ned, unless they found a way for her not to die of it.

137. Asheson 29 Nov 2007 at 12:35 am

at which point, they will have to cancel the show, because without Chuck, the show wouldn’t be the same.

138. Chris B.on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:36 am

Very true. So the chances of that happening would be nil to none.

139. Lilyon 29 Nov 2007 at 12:40 am

Amen to that. Goodnight and until next time. It was fun to share my PD obsession with other crazy people like me.

140. Asheson 29 Nov 2007 at 12:43 am

I’m glad to have people to share it with as well. It’s much more fun to watch with friends. :-)

141. Chris B.on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:46 am

True true. Gotta love it ; )

142. Juliaon 29 Nov 2007 at 12:57 am

I think that it’s a brilliant idea anyway, but I kind of felt that the life-size doll reminded me of the movie “Lars and the Real Girl.”

143. Chris B.on 29 Nov 2007 at 1:08 am

If you look at it, no show is truly original. But I think that this one makes an exception to the norm.

144. Soniaon 29 Nov 2007 at 1:57 am

Emmerson: No, see, this is how it all ends. Some weird guy comes in sayin’ stuff that don’t make no sense? And by the time your head realizes, “Hey, this weird guy don’t make no sense,” your guts are all over the window.

*****

Alfredo: If I loved you … then I would love you in any way I could. And if we could not touch, then I would draw strength from your beauty, and if I went blind then I would fill my soul with the sound of your voice and the contents of your thoughts until the last spark of my love for you lit the shabby darkness of my dying mind.

145. personon 29 Nov 2007 at 2:06 am

omg
that episode was sooo good
especially the ending!!
i cant for another 2 weeks!

146. Susanon 29 Nov 2007 at 2:49 am

Dang, it sucks living on Pacific time — everyone’s already seen the show by the time it’s on out here! Oh well, it’s been fun reading everyone’s comments.

I’m not surprised that Ned told Chuck about her dad. If he hadn’t, this would have been a 3rd strike — first, he didn’t tell her that someone else died when he let her live, then he didn’t tell her that Olive kissed him. I’m kind of glad he’s learning and getting this skeleton outta the closet (almost literally). You don’t think they’ll go wake up her dad so Chuck can say goodbye to him, do you?

Had to squee a little for Olive’s kiss/dream sequence, but amen to whoever said “damn this show and their dream sequences.” That’s twice they’ve fooled me.

147. Kaiton 29 Nov 2007 at 3:31 am

I am so in love with this show all over again! It just does that every week. But two weeks before the next ep is the word? No! Not fair! What do I do for two weeks without my Daisies fix? :S

Best quote tonight: “Don’t mess with the Pie Hoes.”

That one had me giggling like mad. Loved the outfits with those ridiculous heels. LOL Loved the Bitter Sweets shop- hopefully we’ll see more of it next week, and Alfredo. Him and Olive were so cute in that dream sequence.

And Ned telling Chuck about her Dad had me yelling at my TV. He should tell her, yet I didn’t want him to. :P

But frak! A two week wait! :(

148. Ashon 29 Nov 2007 at 9:11 am

ugh, my computer broke halfway into the episode, so i couldn’t comment with any of you guys! loved tonight’s show, though i am still in shock that Ned actually told her. i liked the (almost) relationship between olive and fredo, wish i could see more of it in the future (oh, wait, thats right…theres only one more episode because these morons cant give the writers what they deserve!) promise ill fix my computer’s problem in time for the next episode (2 weeks…sucks)

“don’t mess with the pie hos!”

149. Ned (dan.)on 29 Nov 2007 at 10:28 am

OMG, I’m reading through these comments and realizing that apparently I fell asleep through some of it. No, seriously I missed part of the show. I didn’t see Ned tell Chuck about her Father. And now that I think about it, I didn’t see the resolution of the case either.

I’m seriously honestly the lamest douche on earth. I’m pretty sure I deleted the show too. WTF I’m dying.

150. rockerbabyfi12on 29 Nov 2007 at 12:25 pm

The line when Chuck says, “Because you really like him” was originally “Because he really likes you” or “Because i really like you” you can see chuck’s mouth very clearly forming the word “you” instead of “him”

151. Alishiaon 29 Nov 2007 at 4:58 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew what was in the pie olive baked for ned. I can’t figure out why he didn’t want it.

152. Adriannaon 29 Nov 2007 at 5:32 pm

I loved the epiosde. I loved the prison scenes of everyone visiting Ned and Emerson’s remarks. I loved Olive and Chuck breaking into candy store, the Pie Ho sign, and Molly Shannon played it excellent last night.

They had 10.18 million viewers last night which is best news of all.

153. rockerbabyfi12on 29 Nov 2007 at 5:36 pm

Alishia- There was an outline of a gun and bullets baked into the pie. The “special filling” Olive was talking about.

154. Susanon 29 Nov 2007 at 7:24 pm

Ned(dan.) — can’t believe you fell asleep and missed Ned’s strip tease scene! No, wait, that was MY dream sequence.

Loved Olive and Chuck in their Charlie’s Angels break in, but overall it wasn’t my favorite ep. Good, but not as awesome as Dummy or Pigeon or the Pie-lette. Maybe it will grow on me as I rewatch it over the next two weeks…

155. Carrieon 29 Nov 2007 at 7:36 pm

“Don’t mess with the pie hos!” Brilliant… Can’t wait for the tee shirt! I want that and “Follow the Yellow Thick Hose”

Seriously, give the writers anything they want! Where would this show be without them?!

156. Asheson 29 Nov 2007 at 7:48 pm

Ash- You were missed dearly this week! It wasn’t quite the same without my PD friend. :-) Hope to see everyone back in two weeks!

(And yeah, they REALLY need to get this mess resolved soon…)

157. Asheson 30 Nov 2007 at 12:32 am

I was rewatching the episode, and I realized I used to drive a car like the one Olive gets locked in the trunk of. Only mine was a LOT more beat up.

158. Henryon 30 Nov 2007 at 2:53 am

Did anyone else hear Digby drop the F bombed when he growled back at the food inspector? I rewound it over and over and listened again and again. I swear (pardon the pun) the bark started with the Fffffff sound, followed by YOU.

159. Asheson 05 Dec 2007 at 1:34 am

I was rewatching it, and yeah, you can almost hear him say it. I was surprised.
