I agree with you Olivia - I'm bored with Chuck, and she seems like she couldn't care less about Ned's affectations for her anyway. Plus she's sort of annoying.

Ned + Olive yay!!!!!

Somebody brothched the subject of "touch" a few posts ago. I can tell you that being a former licensed massage therapist , touch is VERY important. There have been studies to the effect on newborn babies if they are not touched enough during formative month's. The result is pretty profound. Less cognitively developed and more apt for social and emotional problems down the line.

Having said that , I just think that Chuck and Ned NEED to touch eventually to take the next step in there relationship and the show. Like I said earlier, the novelty of them not touching is cute for only so long and then people get bored of it.

The show needs a shake-up in story line and fast. Either the Aunt's find out that Chuck is alive or Ned and Chuck can touch after all. There is a million and one clever ways they could write it to where they could.

I don't think the big surprise should be Ned and Chuck being able to touch, but a relationship between Ned and Olive, Chuck is boring me anyways :P

Keeping Olive wrapped up in nun's clothes completely contradicts having Kristin Chenoweth on the show. Let the girl loose!!!

And I am also having the HD audio problems. But it looks spectacular.

Why is touching so important? I ask this hypothetically. Is touch crucial for a relationship, and how does romance happen without it? This show is unique on so many counts, but questioning the basic rules of how humans interact and express themselves is part of its beauty. Chuck is tactile, Ned isn't - even if they could touch, I imagine he would flinch if hugged by surprise.

The poet Kahlil Gibran and the love of his life, Mary (Sullivan??), were almost never in the same geographic place. They never married. Yet, they wrote to each other and had one of the best documented, most heart-felt romances I've ever read. Check out their published collection of love letters if you need something sweet. The pen pal romance in Pigeon was a little reminder that there are other couples who have relationships without touch.

If the no touching rule is frustrating anyone, perhaps ask yourself my opening question. Love exists and can be expressed without any physical contact. (Yes, the tension is palpable when Chuck and Ned WANT to touch - it's like walking past free samples of the world's best cheesecake. But, eating cheesecake everyday isn't a good idea, and touch isn't a substitute for communication and true emotion).

I definitely think that if they DO end up being able to touch, it wouldn't (and shouldn't) be until the last season. Or (if this IS the last season) until the last couple of episodes. It would totally change the show if they could touch, but at the same time, after watching them dance around each other for so long, I think it would give the audience great closure to know that they can finally be a normal couple.

I mean, yeah, it's kind of sweet and everything. But after like...2 or 3 years (or more) of not touching, I would just start to get depressed if I were either of them.

Honestly and truly, No offense but I agree with Digby. I think it's so sweet and fun that they can't touch and if they could touch it would ruin the whole idea of the show. It drives me crazy and that's why I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Personally will will do anything to help save the show! Also I would absolutely positively:) LOVE to have it moved to another day ;)! I can't watch it live on Wednesday's because I'm always gone! BUT PLEASE, DON'T LET MY SHOW GO! It's the only show I really watch! Moving the show to a new day will only only add more advertising! And make me happy:)

Pushing Daisies is my favorite show in the world and I would do anything to save it. I need Pushing Daisies in my life and I know all you other fans do too. I know we can beat this whole low ratings thing but for now let us take some advice from Ned. "Bring a smile and positive attitude!" (from Bzzz episode)
