Well, I’m officially bummed….The Golden Globes have been cancelled!!!!! PD really needed this to showcase and publicize the show. Hope ABC takes all of this into consideration. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

So sad about the Golden Globes! :( It really does seem unfair to the PD cast, as they were up for some awards, and as their first year with a hit show, it would have been nice for them to be showcased.

However, as I understand it, the awards are still going through - just that there are no ceremonies. Someone correct me if I read it wrong, but I think the awards are being handed out (or at least “revealed”) at a press conference, rather than at the big hoopla awards show. So Anna, Lee, and the show can still take home awards … we just won’t get to see them all glammed up :(

I hope the cast shows up for the People’s Choice Awards tomorrow!! Especially since I’m certain they’ll be taking the award home for Best Comedy!!

I cannot wait for the People’s Choice Awards! It is probably my least favorite awards ceremony but not this year. I have been voting at least twice a day (sometimes 4 or 6) since thepiemaker.com mentioned Pushing Daisies was nominated. They completely deserve to win — especially against Samantha Who and Chuck.

I am crossing my fingers for their win but I am also hoping that some of the cast will be there so I can see just a glimpse of the best show on TV.

Someone needs to compromise with these writers!! Preferably soon!

Samanth Who? is right, I have never even heard of that show. Whatever. Wow, so much for the people, they should get an award for bad taste. Crossing my fingers for the Golden Globes, aren’t they this Sunday?
