Interview: Lee Pace on “Miss Pettigrew”
Lee Pace recently sat down for the press junket for his upcoming film “Miss Pettrigrew Lives for a Day“. In the video below, Lee talks to Chuck the Movieguy about working on the film, recording at the legendary Abbey Road and the possibility of a musical episode of PUSHING DAISIES.

Note to self…when interviewing a celebrity, (1) actually ask them questions and (2) let them talk without constant interruptions. Lee remains gracious throughout a rather trying interview.

Was he not the most inept interviewer! Lee really showed patience and humor by letting that guy stumble all over himself. He looks like has had fun making “Miss Pettigrew…”. I can’t wait to go see it next week!
Is that interviewer always like that, or can this just be blamed on super PD “fanatic” giddiness? I’d think it’s probably not considered good form to tell an actor you were basically stalking his costar, and then asking if he always gets responses like his and his friend’s.
Lee did handle that wonderfully, though, especially towards the end.
Oprah is the worst about interrupting and cutting people off.
Holy smokes that interviewer was horrible! Lee seemed so charming and interesting, and that guy wouldn’t be quiet. It’s not a conversation, it’s an INTERVIEW!! Anyway, can’t wait for the movie. It looks fantastic!
This was not a good interview at all. From a journalist student perspective, it was quite painful actually. I haven’t viewed other interviews with Chuck, but I hope this isn’t his normal technique. It’s fine to have a conversational flow, but you must allow the interviewee to speak–after all that’s the point of the interview!
Lee handled it beautifully. I don’t know if I would have been as gracious…well, I probably would have said politely to let me finish what I was saying. But Lee was very poised.
