    oh dear she’s so marvelous!

I had a little thought as I watched Olive take Ned’s hand…I wish that Ned would have taken her hand, pulled Olive up by the one arm and just swung her little body up into both his arms and swirled her round and round as her legs kicked back and forth in delight…bird’s eye camera shot cuts to Olive alone singing her little heart out…

forgive me, i got caught up in the moment. = )

Moments like these are what I’m going to miss most about this show. No show on TV will ever make me feel the way this show did.

I don’t ever want to lose this feeling.

ARE THEY FOR SUUUURE CANCELLING PD?

  4. Martin McPhersonon 04 Dec 2008 at 11:35 pm

    Clueless executives. Grrrrrr.

Well, look at all the reality shows - sometimes I think people only prefer mean-spirited television.

  6. Santion 05 Dec 2008 at 3:14 am

The people “up there” making decisions clearly have no taste for what good television is. I hope someone (or some network) finds out about this and take action to save this great show.

Anyway, I knew that Olive would get those interruptions while singing (like with Hopelessly Devoted To You), but I sort of hoped that we would hear more of the song. But hey, it was still nice. Nice to see that Olive didn’t sing it in a melancholy mood, because that would have been very sad - for her at least.

Sighs… Why must I be deprived of my weekly Snook dosage???? What is ABC thinking. Why will I never see Olive get her man???

P.S. this song has been in my head for two days and it is unlikely that ti will elave for quite some time

Whoa, goose bumps!!!!! What a wonderfull scene. And her hand looks so tiny in his *sigh*. PD is the only show that gives me the magic chill every single week. I’m going to miss it terribly!!!!!

My aunt made fun of it throughout the entire scene. She likes the show, but she’s no Pie-Holer! She just doesn’t get it. It’s a throwback to my adolescent years; singing this song and pining after the celebrity crush of the week! What fun!

This is just the all around perfect show, let’s enjoy it while it lasts!

This song has been stuck in my head for 2 days. Not a bad thing!!! That was sooo beautiful!

i adore this show and if enough people made a fuss and wanted this it to continue, then it would.

    Beautiful.

I wrote the network as soon as I could after I heard about the cancellation. I told them, among other things, that even though they said they’d given it their best shot, that wasn’t true. I informally polled in person many people about PD. It’s not that these people didn’t like it — they’d never seen it. In fact, more than half had heard good things about it but didn’t even know what night and which channel it was on. As Deb Pickman says above, maybe we all could make a difference. Start an email barrage. Here’s one contact option …

    PD deserves better.

I live in the UK but I’m boycotting all other ABC shows for cancelling Pushing Daisies out of principle. Pushing Daisies is a masterpiece it’s as simple as that.
The bit I love about this scene the most is when Olive says “maybe she’s stepping out… I mean stepped out” LOL
*sigh* I’m going to miss this show

    ):
It’s so sad that a one-of-a-kind, truly heartwarming show like PD has been taken away, but I’m still clinging onto that last glimmer of hope until the day that everything is absolutely 100% done. Also, I was thinking that we could all write to Perez Hilton, asking him to bring attention to the show, since millions of people read his site everyday, it could (potentially) give a huge boost to the ratings if he posted about PD and how there is some (albeit a tiny bit) hope for the show to continue. Im not sure if it would work, but at this point, anything is worth a shot.

Don’t know if you’ve read this yet or not.

I think it’s the first break we PD fans have gotten in all this mess.

this is seriously the ONLY show i watch on tv. its the only show that isnt full of crap jsut go get good ratings. its just so unique! im soo sad! and i never watch tv! society is to brainless to appreciate true work of art while they waste their brains on reality shows and stupid shit like dancing with the stars/american idol and all this crap thats not even really good.

I will dearly miss this show. I watch the dvds of Dead Like Me as I’m sure I’ll watch these. I look forward to the storylines in comics.

the masses are the asses, and it’s not surprising this show did not catch on. It was too good for tv and too episodic for the big screen.

  23. Patriciaon 07 Jan 2009 at 9:15 pm

I’m heartbroken. The sweetest tv show ever - gives me goosebumps every episode. What are these people thinking?
Let’s hope there is something better ahead for this group of unbelieveably talented actors. They should be throwing awards at them, not putting them out of work. Shame, crying shame.

  24. PieLuvaon 07 Mar 2009 at 5:10 pm

Does anyone know where to get this song without it being cut up at random points, but still being sung by Kristin? I hope if/when they put the soundtrack out that this will be on it. It’s so pretty <3.
