Hopping over here from GMMR’s live-chat of the Emmys … YAY FOR KRISTIN! She was so amazing, and beautiful, and just so humble! I was in tears with her during her speech. She’s just amazing, and I can’t wait for her to come join the Gleeks (and perhaps turn it into a recurring role? Oh, please FOX-TV gods!!).

I’m not into watching awards shows, but I’ve been lurking around Yahoo for the last few hours to see if Kristin won. Guess there’s still some love there for Pushing Daisies!

  7. Daisiesruleson 21 Sep 2009 at 12:20 am

She definately deserved it. I was shocked, I was sure she wasn’t going to win, but thankfully she did. For me it was a big F-you to the boobs who cancelled the show. Congrats Kristin! Hoo-Ray!

ewausiellofiles: BFuller reax to KC win: “She’s song in Daisies’ soul & I’m happy her praises were sung. That’s 7 Emmys for Daisies. NOW can we make movie?”

FYI, PD won more emmys than Mad Men.

  9. JLangon 21 Sep 2009 at 4:22 am

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is an unforgettable moment for Kristin and Pushing Daisies. They deserve EVERYTHING and we all must be proud of the show because there will NEVER be another Pushing Daisies. Now, I see that justice exists!! :D :D :D

  12. mochanuton 21 Sep 2009 at 2:19 pm

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY KRISTIN!! I’m so happy for her!! I hope this brings more work to her and that we’ll see her on TV more often.

  13. mariaon 21 Sep 2009 at 3:13 pm

naa-naa-naa-naa-naa. ABC really got to see that Pushing Daises was respected show!
SO VERY HAPPY for Kristin! Loved her as Olive Snook. SO sad thats she’s unemployed like her co-stars. I miss PD a lot. No other new shows can replace the creative team & fun, innovative stories.

I VOTE YES! TO TV MOVIE!!

  14. Matton 21 Sep 2009 at 3:50 pm

TV movie was never my #1 choice… but neither was the comic book… but if it’s movie or comic book or nothing… 100% MOVIE! It would make my life to see everything come together in the end and see how the show DESERVED to go out.

  15. Katieon 21 Sep 2009 at 4:09 pm

OK. Yah they need to bring Pushing Daisies back. If this doesn’t convince them, I don’t know what will…..

  16. Daisiesruleson 21 Sep 2009 at 6:05 pm

I too hope this gets Daisies more recognition and another chance at live-action lfe. If a movie happens, then I hope it is theatrical; not TV or straight to DVD. That would suck, I would love Daisies on the Big Screen it would be spectacular! Hopefully there will be a trilogy….. ^__^

  17. rhubarbon 21 Sep 2009 at 6:48 pm

    Bryn,
You asked if anyone knew of any PD forums out there. I know of only one…its on fanforum.com. On the site people post photos of cast members, articles, and fun things to read. There’s even a thread for comments on rewatch of season 2. If there are any other forums out there, I’d like to hear about them too!

Off-topic, but my subscription to The New Yorker was made official yesterday with the arrival of my first issue in the mail. Susan Orlean has a piece in there about raising chickens, and there’s a bit in there about the McMurray Hatchery, which supplies optional chickens for people who buy the Eglu chicken house. It says, “The company was founded in 1917 by Murray McMurray….” If “Pushing Daisies” was still around, I gurantee someone on the writing staff or Bryan Fuller himself would have found that name and used it.

  26. pakopakoon 01 Oct 2009 at 4:05 pm

Just caught the latest episode of Glee with Kristin Chenoweth and… I know she comes from Broadway, but she must have some kind of “actor dial” that is always turned to 115% She is at the point where she is “frighteningly good” ALL THE TIME. Her expressions are amazing, bewitching almost, not to say anything about her magnificent set of pipes. (Her Emmy win made me feel enamored, overjoyed, and tearful all over the span of minutes. That’s just not natural. In a good way!)

And another new is Lee is going to appear in Kathryn Bigelow new series called The Miraculous Year but there’s not info about his character!

i do miss this show soo much and a good website to browse!

  46. Natalieon 12 Jan 2011 at 3:51 pm

Okay, I and everyone knows there have been no recent posts for this fan site in a while, but here’s something i suggest posting: There will be a new Pushing Daisies comic coming out in Spring or Summer of 2011. There will be twelve issues published by DC comics, and they are mainly created to explain any questions anyone had at the series finale. Please, don’t stop posting on this website, there are a few of us left that still admire this show.

  47. Meon 24 May 2011 at 10:54 pm
