Kristin Dos Santos to Mod PUSHING DAISIES Panel at Paley
We’ve been sitting on this one and had to wait until the official announcement was made, but today we can tell you that E!’s Kristin Dos Santos (and former Pushing Daisies guest star) will be the moderator for the PUSHING DAISIES panel at Paley Fest on Saturday.
Having attended a few Paley panels in the past, I can tell you that a good moderator is key to a good panel. Kristin is a big fan of the show and I know that she’ll do a fantastic job.
I can’t believe that this Saturday Ned (dan) and I will be in a room with the Pace, the Fuller, the Friel, the Chenoweth and all the rest of the cast and crew that make up this delicious show. It’s going to be so very exciting. Even more so for me now that Dan is coming along. And that wouldn’t be possible without the incredible generosity of a Pie Maker reader (and that’s all I can say…for now).
If you have any questions for the panel please feel free to leave them here and we will do our best to get answers for you. There’s a slight chance that Paley might not be the only time we get to chat with the Daisies crew, so make sure you leave us all the questions you’ve been dying to ask.

I have been dying to know what kind of music Lee Pace listens to. All this talk about him singing and whatnot - well, when can we finally find out the bands he listens to? The genres? I have been wondering for months now, and I’d love to finally have an answer.

Pushing Daisies is my favorite show and I can’t wait until it comes back in the fall! We’ve gotten a tiny hint of a potential relationship between Olive and the traveling salesman Alfredo Aldarisio (Raul Esparza). Any chance that storyline will be developed further? As a huge musical-theatre geek, I’d love to see Kristin and Raul get more screen time together!
Olive is my favorite character on the show and I love the way Kristin portrays her. I was wondering when we are going to see Olive get some romance in her life, and what you have in store for her in the upcoming season.
Also, will season 1 be released on dvd and if so will there be lots of extras??
Please, please, ask Lee about his coming to Brazil to promote the show!! See if you can get anything out of him, please!!
I will be attending this event as well, but I had a question for you guys who have been to one of these….do we get to ask them questions personally? or do we submit them and they just talk? I’m so nervous and ultra excited to be going and be able to see Lee Pace in person, I can barely control myself..!!!! Thanks. I’ll see you all there!

I definitly think that Olive and Alfredo should start a relationship!! They are so cute!!
Thanks for taking questions for all of us that can’t be there!
Will Olive get to be more involved with the gang this season?
Any new guest star ideas? It would be great to see more musical theatre (Barbara Cook, Shirley Jones) or even Hitchcock people (Tippi Hedren, Kim Novak).
Also, we’ve had no actual flashbacks of Emerson’s past — will we get to see more in the second season?
Thanks again Dan and Kath, I hope you guys have a great time at Paley Fest.
This is for Kristin, cuz I love her!
1. Do you think Olive will be more into the gang than in the first season?
2. Will we ever see the life of you and Ned working together ina flashback before Chuck came?
3. Will Alfredo come back, or will Olive fall in love with a new man?
4. Why does Emerson hate you so much?
(if you could mention that these questions are coming from a glitterie, that would be great.)
for those of u who don’t know, a glitterie is a member of Kristin’s fanclub- Glitter.
My questions are:
1. When will the DVD be released?
2. What bonus features can we expect?
3. Will there be a soundtrack of the score and songs of the show?
4. If so, when will it be released?
P.S. I am - gulp - I mean, was a Glitterite, too.
Will we ever flashback to the childhood of other characters than Ned and Chuck? I adore tiny Ned, but they must be running out of ideas for him. I think it would be cool if the secondary characters (Emerson, Olive, Lily, Vivian) each got an episode that focused on them, and they could start it by showing some moment from that characters childhood that shaped him/her in some way. Sort of like how Scrubs does one episode per season where JD is not the narrator. I would especially love to get some insight into the childhoods of the aunts and Charles.
Also, I want to know if Ned’s family (dad, stepmom, stepbrothers, possible halfsiblings) will show up, but I doubt they would give that away.
I will be attending and was just wondering if anyone knows how early you should arrive? I have general admission seats and wanted to try to get as close seats. Thanks!
