Lee Pace in ‘Polar Bear Man’
Lee Pace stars in this short film about a man’s experience with climate change and how it mirrors the real-life challenges polar bears face with global warming. The film not only boasts an important message but it also beautifully shot.
And once you understand the full message of the film, watch it a second time and enjoy Lee Pace looking all kinds of yummy.
Thanks to GWCH for the tip.

Here’s the funny thing. I saw this on LiveEarth day but only the last bit where he goes from attic to roof and didn’t even realize it was Lee Pace at the time. Which is all kinds of sad considering I was already a pretty big Lee Pace fan.
Don’t forget that Anna was also in one that we posted here back in the first days of ThePieMaker.com:

Ha ha … Ned, I was just going to come on and post the link to Anna Friel’s “Rubbish”! Both are wonderful (though I’m partial to Anna) shorts, thought seeing Lee in the tub and singing to his iPod is pretty funny…
Woah Woah, wait. Is the voice of the narrator John Simm, because that sounds a lot like him.
But other than that, this is great. Thanks.
Wait. As I’m watching it again, it doesn’t really sound like John Simm much. It was really only at the end where I thought it was him.
Love that! When he starts singing…..Better not use that voice for any potential musical numbers on PD.
Definitely not the voice of John Simm, but I see the part where you thought it might have been him- I think it sounds more like Simon Pegg.
the background music is one of my favorite classical pieces! (which is to say a lot since I don’t listen to much classical) it was a very unexpected choice. and lee was simply the cherry on the top.
But what happened to his hamster? o.O
That was amazing. The political message and of course, all the Lee!
jaunell!!! that’s a very good question!!!

Haha… this is awesome ^^ (by the way, nice singing, Lee… I was just joking ^-^”) Nice video though!
That was darling. I understand the “green” message behind it, but could they have tried to pack him in a smaller bathtub? Poor kid! Nice legs though!
