Published by Chuck (Kath) at 3:32 pm under Lee Pace, Pushing Daisies Videos

Lee Pace stars alongside Sarah Michelle Geller in a new film, “Possession” which will be released in early 2008. In “Possession”, a woman’s (Sarah Michelle Geller) life is thrown into chaos after a freak car accident sends her husband (Michael Landes) and brother-in-law (Lee Pace) into comas. Thrills arrive after the brother-in-law wakes up, thinking he’s his brother.

The trailer looks incredible. Check it out…

PUSHING DAISIES fans should plan on supporting Lee when Possession opens on February 29, 2008.

The trailer looked like the movie was called “Addicted”. Did I see it wrong?

Yeah, it was called “Addicted” at one point in time, but from what I understand they changed it.

Oh man, I’m so on the fence. I want to see and support Lee, but I’m SUCH a chicken when it comes to thrillers/scary movies. If anyone gets a sneak peek at a screening, please share. Seriously, A Perfect Storm gave me nightmares about drowning for weeks.

That’s so weird. I’ve been an SMG fan for FOREVER. Since Buffy’s first season. ;)
And I check her IMDB site relatively often. I saw this movie, read the plot and everything, and thought how awesome it sounded. But I haven’t checked out the movie’s IMDB since before PD aired. So I had no clue Lee was in it!
    What a bonus!

Well, no need to ask me twice. Of course I’ll go and support Lee! It looks like this is one of those movies with some kind of scary twist at the end too, just the kind I like!! =)

Lee Pace AND Sarah Michelle Geller? Sweet. Though unless the consensus is overwhelmingly positive, it’ll be a rental for me.

This looks really creepy! And Lee in such a dark, sinister role! Ack!! But I love Sarah Michelle Gellar, so if I can find a friend to go with me and hold my hand I’ll probably check it out in the theatres.

I watched the movie, being a fan of SM Gellar, the chemistry between all the actors was great. Lee Pace who plays Roman is excellent as the bad asx brother in law, indeed I never heard of him before this movie. What did disappointed me was the directing; a lazy, lousy job in my opinion, but also a missed opportunity to turned this movie in something really interesting, given the very good chemistry Sara Michelle Gellar and Lee Pace had on the set.

Also there are some questions raised about things mentioned in the movie when Ryan talk about his dad what he did to Roman; we really do not know anything about that, so some flashbacks would have helped, to let the audience know about these folks (who they are and what’s their story), especially Roman’s relationship with his family, his girlfriend Casey when she take him in place to trigger his memory. Also what didn’t work for me was the fact that at some point in the movie Casey disappears and the story gives a hint, perhaps Roman killed her. Why would he kill her and jeopardize everything? Roman finally got everything he ever wanted, his brother life and Jess’s love…

The movie theme is very beautiful it did go with atmosphere of the plot, it helped this messed up storyline a lot, which was missing something thoughout, also the songs were good. The love scene was too short and the lighting was very bad, just a perfect moment in the movie ruined..

On the DVD there is an alternate ending which I prefer to the official conclusion a dull and predictable wrap up, if I think how Jess hated Roman from the beginning, but then she believes he can be her husband? Nonsense..The alternate finale is more acceptable, realistic but above all is new…

In conclusion I must say this would have been a good and decent movie if the director (or directors) had put some love and passion in doing it, it is always a pleasure to watch good acting but also actors with chemistry, exploiting that it makes a good plot even better, but the director missed that, so i wonder what ’s the point of directing a movie at all?
