Listen: Kristin Chenoweth and Raul Esparza Sing!

Published by The Pie Maker at 7:31 am under Kristin Chenoweth, Raul Esparza

Olive Snook and Alfredo Aldarisio would make sweet, sweet music together if only given the chance. How do I know? Because both performed together earlier this month at Broadway’s Greatest Showstoppers and they were amazing. Ok maybe it wasn’t Olive and Alfredo as much as their real life counterparts Kristin Chenoweth and Raul Esparza. If you’d like to listen to audio from the event and hear Kristin and Raul sing, head over to the Kristin Chenoweth Fan Site and download the clips.

Their version of ‘Tonight’ from West Side Story is stunning. Let’s Hope Fuller & Co. have found a way to write in a sweet Olive/Raul duet this season.

Thanks to Kerry for the tip

It’d be even better if they could work that song into the episode somehow…..even though the theme doesn’t really fit.

I just listened to it again, and I think that they could find a way to work it into the show (more easily than “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better” at least).

    Would a reunion scene with:

“And there’s nothing for me but Alfredo,
every sight that I see is Alfredo.”

    “Olive, Olive. . .”

be too cheesy? Well, probably, but I’m definitely looking forward to a possible duet even more now.
