Nobody knows why the ratings for the premiere were so abysmally low, given the Emmy wins, the promotion, everything. I'd really love to know how ABC can avoid cancelling the show after that because I really don't see how they'll be able to justify keeping it on if the ratings remain in the toilet and more people keep watching Knight Rider. Not producing any episodes post-strike to air in April or May was, in retrospect, an unbelievably foolish decision. Too bad we won’t get to see most of what Lee so tantalizingly previews here.
