New Lee Pace Interview - iFMagazine
iFMagazine.com recently had the pleasure of interviewing Lee Pace. Based on the questions they asked, I bet this interview was done a little bit ago. But it’s Lee, so we are here to share it with you.
Sadly for fans who proved immensely passionate but not numerous enough, PUSHING DAISIES has been canceled. However, ABC has committed to running all of the episodes that have been filmed; the quirky fantasy series, about a pie-maker whose touch can raise the dead and put them back again, in love with a resurrected woman he may never make physical contact with, is in its last days of production.
Lee Pace, the Texas native who plays Ned the pie-maker, talks about why he loves PUSHING DAISIES so much in this exclusive interview.
iF Magazine: First of all, congratulations on your Best Actor Emmy nomination for Season One.
LEE PACE: Thank you.
iF: Was that possibility at all in your frame of consciousness before it happened?
PACE: Well, this thing happened right before the Emmys where they were doing all these lists of people who were likely going to be nominated, and I stopped paying attention to it. My dog wakes me up every morning about six-thirty, seven, to go for a hike, and he woke me up, and I looked at my phone, and I saw about twenty missed calls and I imagined I was nominated – or my mother was in the hospital. he’s too cute
Aww … it makes me sad to hear how much Lee loved shooting PD, and how great it made him feel. I think it made most of us fans feel that way too, as I always look forward to my Wednesday “happy nights of sweetness”. Thanks for posting the interview!
“I imagined that I was nominated…or my mother was in the hospital.”
Heh..not quite sure what to make of that statement. It’s funny on one hand, yet kinda of odd on the other.
Great interview though.
first..that is a very attractive photo of lee up there. = )
second, i’m happy to know he loves the physical comedy and welcomes the opp. to do more! he’s fantastic in dramatic roles, but I didn’t realize he could also have the grits for comedy as well - like we’ve witnessed in PD…those moments are my favorite.
Man, I’m SO going to miss Ned! He’s neurotic but charming. I hope Lee continues to explore his comedic muscles and someday, I’d love to see him on the stage! (no dark, disturbing roles though)
Thanks for posting!
he is too cute! oooo love him!
I’m happy to hear from Lee that he enjoyed making this show as much as we enjoyed watching it. I’m going to miss my weekly dose of romance and sweetness!!!
I just adore him! He has and shows a real personality, unlike other actors out there that are preoccupied with how they sound that they come off pretentious anyway. Lee shows that he’s human and that he doesn’t have a problem with that. *^_^* *sigh* I just adore him.
Занимательная статья, мне кажется что вам нужно в какие нибудь журналы специальные писать
Fully agree with you, about a week ago wrote about the same in his blog!
Aha, now it is clear … And then I just not very much and did not understand where is the link with the very title …
Very interesting view. I would still hear the views of experts on the subject.
Thanks, article written ochentochno. In other words, and not say.
Country somehow, I doubt that’s true. I need to paint in more detail.
Cognitive. I would like to hear more expert opinion on the subject
I wish they would restate the series! I love this show and I hate nor being able to watch it anymore!!!! I miss pushing daisies! Bring it back to life mr. Pie maker your audience needs you!
