Tomorrow is the BIG day. At 1pm PST the final three episodes of PUSHING DAISIES will air for the first time…in the United States. The Paley screening sold out in under 20 minutes making it the fastest panel to sell out from the two week long festival.

It’s not easy when one of your favorite shows just disappears from the schedule. No warning. No closure. It’s just gone. Fans of the imaginative, funny and beautiful PUSHING DAISIES know this all to well. We all followed the ratings, we knew the story. We knew that this season would be the last for PUSHING DAISIES, but I don’t think we the fans anticipated that ABC would just pull the show away from us before airing all the final episodes. It seemed abrupt and unfair.
Supposedly ABC is obligated to air the final three episodes. When this will happen is a bit up in the air. Those associated with the show have their fingers crossed for a summer airing, but it’s all up to ABC.
Despite the show being off the air for months now, PUSHING DAISIES fans are still visiting this site and others to keep the spirit of PUSHING DAISIES alive in the hopes of one day being able to see the final three episodes and properly close out this particular chapter of PUSHING DAISIES.
Not too long ago ThePieMaker.com had the distinct honor of being invited to the cast and crew screening of those final three episodes. Although Dan sadly wasn’t able to make it, I quickly jumped on a plane and headed out to L.A.. I was thrilled to not only represent this site and its readers but, by virtue of being the only in the room not associated with the show, I guess I was there representing all PUSHING DAISIES fans. A true honor.
Earlier this week it was announced that Kristin Chenoweth will have a recurring role on Fox’s GLEE (from Nip/Tuck’s Ryan Murphy). Glee is a show that I’m dying to see which follows a High School glee club. The last time Murphy went to high school it was the wickedly delicious POPULAR so I have high hopes.
Today it was announced that Chi McBride has signed on to Fox’s new drama HUMAN TARGET. Human Target will star Mark Valley (recently on FRINGE) and Bad News Bears WATCHMEN’s Jackie Earle Haley.
Here are two more reasons Fox’s upcoming musicomedy, Glee, has us overjoyed: Kristin Chenoweth and Victor Garber are joining the cast in what will likely turn out to be recurring roles!
Wicked alum Chenoweth, who showed off her awesome pipes on the late, great Pushing Daisies, will play a part that’s as top secret as it is hilarious. (Sorry, that’s all you’re getting out of me.)
The WBTV-produced “Target” centers on Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a mysterious freelancer who offers a unique form of security for hire: He assumes the identities of people in danger, becoming the “human target” on behalf of his clients.
McBride will play Chance’s business partner and friend.
PUSHING DAISIES is once again a part of the annual Paley Festival. It was announced today that Bryan Fuller will be screening the final three episodes of PUSHING DAISIES as part of this year’s television festival.
Unaired Pushing Daisies with Bryan Fuller

Cinerama Dome at ArcLight Hollywood
In Person: Series creator Bryan Fuller will introduce a screening of the three unaired episodes of Pushing Daisies.
Tickets will be going fast so make sure you can get yours while you still can.
While we’re waiting for the final eps of PUSHING DAISIES to ever see the light of day, you won’t have to wait nearly as long to see Aunt Lily back in action. Swoosie Kurtz has been cast in a guest starring role on ABC’s Desperate Housewives.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Pushing Daisies’ much-loved (and always shnockered) Aunt Lily, aka Swoosie Kurtz, is coming to Desperate Housewives later this season to play a potential love interest for someone on Wisteria Lane.
So who will it be? And when will she appear?
According to insiders, Kurtz will appear in episode 17 of the current fifth season. Episode 14 airs this Sunday, so Kurtz’s episode should air sometime in March. The following month, she’ll appear on an episode of NBC’s Heroes as Millie, an old society friend of Angela Petrelli’s.
As we all know, our very own Charlotte Charles (Anna Friel) will be starring in this summer’s LAND OF THE LOST along side Will Ferrell. Finally, a full preview is available and it aired multiple times during the Super Bowl.

Hey all…Kath here. In just a few minutes I’m going to be boarding a plane headed back home to Boston after an amazing weekend in Los Angeles. PUSHING DAISIES creator Bryan Fuller was kind enough to invite ThePieMaker.com to L.A. for the exclusive cast and crew screening of the final three episodes of PUSHING DAISIES. I was honored to be in the room representing ThePieMaker.com and all of YOU - the Pushing Daisies fans!!
Simply put, the episodes were fantastic!!! I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to see them in their entirety sitting among the very people that have brought us this wonderful show from day one.
There’s lots and lots to share. I promise that I won’t be spoiling the final episodes for you, but there is certainly a little teasing coming your way.
Keep checking back to ThePieMaker.com for more on the screening, some pics and a special message from Bryan Fuller to YOU!!
P.S. To answer the question I know you are dying to know - no, there is not yet an air date for the final three episodes. All fingers are crossed that the episodes will indeed air this summer on ABC.
