If you choose to hold your breath until ABC opts to air the final three episodes of PUSHING DAISIES then you best have Ned by your side to wake you from the dead. According to a report on E!, ABC insiders say that the final three eps will most likely not air until June at the earliest. Bad news for all us feelings the void on Wednesday nights.
Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that ABC airs them at all.

PUSHING DAISIES creator and all around swell guy Bryan Fuller was kind enough to share an exclusive snippet of the PUSHING DAISIES series finale (“Kerplunk”) with ThePieMaker.com!
Here is a beautiful and bizarre fx clip from the finale. You can see the pic above in action. It’s a tiny little tease, but one that allows for a little speculation don’t you think?
What is The Intrepid Cow Macaroni and Cheese? How does it play into the final episode of Daisies? Are we looking at another Pie Hole rival or could one of our favorite characters be branching out on his/her own? The possibilities are endless.
Thanks Bryan!!
NOTE: Due to technical issues, the video was temporarily removed. It will be back up soon.

The latest hero on HEROES? How about one half of the Darling Mermaid Darlings. Ok so maybe Swoosie Kurtz won’t have mermaid-esque superpowers but she will be guesting on an upcoming episode of HEROES.
The part reunites Swoosie with PUSHING DAISIES creator Bryan Fuller who has now returned to HEROES as a producer and writer. Fuller wroter the part especially for Swoosie.
Fuller, now Kurtz. Am I actually going to have to start watching HEROES again?

Starpulse was lucky enough to talk with PUSHING DAISIES writers, an real-life married couple, Chad and Dara Creasy about how they met, fell in love and became a successful writing duo.
I suppose it’s worth noting that we recently got an update about what some of the former PUSHING DAISIES writers are up to and we are happy to report that everyone is working on exciting projects. When we are at liberty to say we will fill you in. I’m sure like us you’ll want to support the PD writers in their new endeavors.
Art Imitating Life Imitating Art: Q&A With ‘Pushing Daisies’ Writers Chad & Dara Creasey
At first the tale of this up-and-coming Hollywood power couple sounds like the plot to one of the romantic comedies they’ve made their “bread and butter on.” They met in the Peter Stark producing program at USC, started writing together, fell in love, got married, started writing for television, moved to a house in the Hollywood Hills and lived happily ever after. Not bad for a couple in their late twenties. How did “a pseudo-intellectual Jew from the Upper East Side,” and a man “from the plains of Colorado” get so lucky? (Continue reading at Starpulse)

TV.com picked their “Top 100 Everything” of 2008 and PUSHING DAISIES made the list at #7:
Getting a vision from the brain to the small screen is no small task, but translating the world Bryan Fuller created for Pushing Daisies onto network television was a thing of wonder. Elaborate sets, over-saturated colors, and teeny-tiny details made Pushing Daisies a feast for the eyes.
We couldn’t agree more.

It’s bittersweet news for PUSHING DAISIES fans. Kristin Chenoweth has just been cast in “Legally Mad”, a new NBC series from David E. Kelley
In “Legally Mad,” Chenoweth is set to play Skippy Pylon, a cheerful and brilliant attorney who nonetheless exhibits flashes of psychosis — and enjoys being mistaken for a teenager.
“I’ve wanted to work with her for a long time and can’t wait to reveal her as someone who’s completely mad,” Kelley said.
“Legally Mad,” which is set at a Chicago law practice, reps the first major project to come out of Kelley’s deal with Warner Bros. TV, which is producing the show.
We wish nothing but the best for Kristin, but we will surely miss Olive Snook.

I worried that the lack of last week’s “Next time on Pushing Daisies….” meant that there wasn’t a new episode this week. I’m happy to report there is. Please join us back here at ThePieMaker.com at 8pm to watch the episode together.

Congrats to PUSHING DAISIES which was named Best Comedy in the 2008 Family Entertainment Awards. Lee, Anna and Chi were on hand to accept the award.
The mission of the Family Entertainment Awards is to promote and support the development of high quality content the whole family can enjoy together. (Gotta love when these groups can’t read between the lines).
This is PUSHING DAISIES second FEA. Last year they took home best series.
Congrats!

iFMagazine.com recently had the pleasure of interviewing Lee Pace. Based on the questions they asked, I bet this interview was done a little bit ago. But it’s Lee, so we are here to share it with you.
Sadly for fans who proved immensely passionate but not numerous enough, PUSHING DAISIES has been canceled. However, ABC has committed to running all of the episodes that have been filmed; the quirky fantasy series, about a pie-maker whose touch can raise the dead and put them back again, in love with a resurrected woman he may never make physical contact with, is in its last days of production.
Lee Pace, the Texas native who plays Ned the pie-maker, talks about why he loves PUSHING DAISIES so much in this exclusive interview.
iF Magazine: First of all, congratulations on your Best Actor Emmy nomination for Season One.
LEE PACE: Thank you.
iF: Was that possibility at all in your frame of consciousness before it happened?
PACE: Well, this thing happened right before the Emmys where they were doing all these lists of people who were likely going to be nominated, and I stopped paying attention to it. My dog wakes me up every morning about six-thirty, seven, to go for a hike, and he woke me up, and I looked at my phone, and I saw about twenty missed calls and I imagined I was nominated – or my mother was in the hospital.
