Personally, I loved Girth. The dialogue, especially, was extremely witty, and I think rather brilliant. I love, also, that we were able to see more of Olive's past and learn more about her. While there were very few 'Ned/Chuck' moments, we still got our daily dose of romance.
'Fun at The Funeral' was also great. I love it when Ned mentions that he used to want to be a Jedi, and the heroic styling in that entire episode. I think that it is my second favorite.

"fun at the funeral" for me, the Civil war Chinese guy had me in stitches, it's really the kind of somewhat off beat humor that I like about Pushing daisies, especially when the narrator explains it so perfectly deadbeat

Much as I love all the episodes, it's the "Pie-lette" that fist stole my heart and got me addicted to Pushing Daisies. The entire scene when Ned brings Chuck back to life I can watch over and over. His voice breaking as he stammers before telling Chuck "You were my first kiss". The way they look at each other when she says "I guess that means a kiss is out of the question?" and raises her eyebrows at him. "I've lost my train of thought...." he replies...and so have we, for a moment. I'm such a sucker for a delightful romance, and this my friends, is the most delightful one of all!

Hard choice between the Pie-lette and Dummy... I voted for the former, but I'm still debating it. Olive's "oh crap" as she's hanging out her window to spy, Ned's "why is it always a mixture" at the Dandelion car factory... those are my favorite deliveries and they're both in Dummy, but I guess overall Ned's head into the coffin gag in the Pie-lette is just the best. The early episodes are all great, really.

My favourite episode remains the "Pie-lette". I don't think I've ever been that taken by a premiere episode before. I just remember watching it and being sucked into the colour, the romance, the heartbreak, and everything else. It was just so real - so vivid, and yet it seemed almost like a prime time fairytale (a "forensic fairytale"?) as well. When it was over, I was left wanting more, and could not wait for the second episode to air.

A close second is "Fun in the Funeral", because it's goofy fun, and yet we get some drama between Ned and Chuck as well (when she finds out that he "accidentally involuntarily manslaughtered" the funeral director so she could live). We also get the steamy Saran Wrap kiss, Olive and Alfredo moments, and some really awesome quotes ("kick Pooh, kick!").

Of the last few episodes, my favourite is probably"Bitter Sweets". I actually liked Molly Shannon in her role, and who doesn't love "The Pie Hos", and Olive's reaction to Ned being imprisoned??

Pie-lette, I'm a sucker for the second time they meet, as he saves her from dying forever. i like the sweetness of it. My second favourite would have to be Bittersweets, when Ned tells Chuck he kinda killed her dad. Can't wait for the future episodes!

I like all the episodes, but my favorite would probably have to be Pigeon. I love the colorful windmills and the lines in it are great. *girly bows* has to be my favorite part.

My second favorite would probably have to be Dummy, but mostly just for Ned's moon-struck expression throughout the whole thing.

"Bittersweets." I thought the episode was brilliant with the multi-layered storytelling (the "doll" girlfriend, the candyshop rivals, Ned's secret). The pace (no pun intended) of the episode was excellent. MOLLY SHANNON! And "Chuck, I killed your dad" with the camera backing out of their apartment into the snowy city, setting up the blizzard storyline for corpsicle. . . . . it was just genius.

"Bittersweets." Mike White. Enough said. (But if it's not enough... "I'm just some guy.)

I love all the episodes, characters, and this show in general.

But if I had to quantify my love with one succinct statement it would be...

"plastic-wrap kiss"

sigh.

And therefore "The Fun in Funeral" gets my vote.
