How do I get tickets? I went to the Paley Center website and it seems that admission is free to the Paley Center. Are there tickets specific to the screening? I can’t seem to find it and I would love to go! Thanks.

  2. Reneeon 19 Feb 2009 at 10:27 am

Are you going? I mean, you’ve seen the episodes already, but do you get to go to cover the excitement and get another interview with the cast and crew?

Oh, yeah! And will you be sharing the infamous interview you snagged a few weeks ago anytime soon? *~_^*

  3. Leonora619on 19 Feb 2009 at 11:13 am

Tickets to the general public go on sale on March 1. Tickets for members go on sale Feb. 26.

  4. Nick Schnebleon 19 Feb 2009 at 12:51 pm

The Paley Center website doesn’t list the price for individual tickets to the general public, only “premium festival packages” and a “festival pass” which runs $1,200!

Does anyone know how much individual tickets will cost? I’m debating whether its worth becoming a member to get a better chance at snagging a few tickets.

    Thanks!

  5. Kathon 19 Feb 2009 at 1:00 pm

How did you guys get on the site to leave comments? We are having major technical difficulties. Impressive!

Not sure how much the tickets will cost but as soon as I know I’ll post it. They are different each year.

I’m planning on being there. And yes I will be posting some updates from the final three episodes soon. I promise.

  6. leonora619on 19 Feb 2009 at 1:16 pm

If it’s like previous events, you’re looking at a range from $20-40. To leave a comment/question on the site you will need to register as a user on the Paley site. Unlike a Paley center membership, web user registration is free.

  7. leonora619on 19 Feb 2009 at 1:37 pm

Here’s the poop. Scoop, skinny, the haps, the dealio, the 4-1-1. I dug out the email sent to me from the Paley Center.

    “Single Show Ticketing
    · General admission is back again this year! No Seat Assignments.
    · All member tickets are $35 with a limited selection of premium seats priced at $50″

    and

“Remember, in order to participate in the exclusive member’s pre-sale window your membership must be current.

Please renew by February 5, 2009 at 12:00 pm PT to secure access to the pre-sale window. After February 5th, you can only renew your membership through TicketWeb (the Paley Center will not be able to process any membership renewals again until after the conclusion of the Paley Festival).”

I hope the info. helps, and I hope to see all of you there.

BUAAAA it is two days after my birthday!!! is not fair!!! I want it as a Bday present!!! that is my wish for this year!!! thanks piemaker!

  9. Pie Loveron 21 Feb 2009 at 12:11 am

Maybe KATH-NED, you could hold a competition and give the winner free tickets or something!!!!!!!!!!! That would be amazing if possible. And you should also give 2 to the person that gave you the idea ;)

I’m anxiously awaitn’ those spoilers! Waitin’ for week and checkin’ everyday!!

  10. Reneeon 21 Feb 2009 at 12:12 am

Have loads of fun for us, Kath! You know that we all wish we could be there to give our sincerest and most hopeful wishes for any future PD successes and all of Mr. Fuller’s future endeavors. Please pass that on to the cast and crew for us. *^_^*

  11. Pie Loveron 21 Feb 2009 at 12:15 am

Sorry, just wondering is anyone else’s http://www.thepiemaker.com not loading correctly like mine on Internet Exporer??? It’s like all blue and I can’t see the main picture!

BUT MAYBE IT’S JUST MY COMPUTER!
my computer is a stupid intrepid cow! minus the intrepid

  12. Jenniferon 21 Feb 2009 at 1:29 pm

Actually, the price for the PD screening only is $15 for non-members.

    http://www.paleycenter.org/the-paley-center-for-media-announces-paleyfest09

For Paley Center Members, ticket prices are $50 and $35 per event. For the general public, tickets are $60 and $45 per event. The exception is for the unseen Pushing Daisies screening event - $15 for general public and $12 for Paley Center Members.

  13. Reneeon 21 Feb 2009 at 3:24 pm

Oh! How I wish I lived on the same coast, at least! *U_U*

  14. Nahnon 21 Feb 2009 at 4:24 pm

    Hi!

The Pushing Daisies soundtrack was released on iTunes a while ago, consisting of scores and studio recordings of the 3 songs featured in Season 1. I saw no mention of this on the site, so I just want to give a heads up in case. If you already knew, then sorry!

Since I don’t live in the US…sigh, guess I’ll have to wait for the dvds.

  15. Pie Loveron 21 Feb 2009 at 8:40 pm

Yeah I got the cd the day it came out!!! :) It’s amazing. It’s great for doing homework because there’s no lyrics on most of the songs. Plus the real treat is Kristin and Ellen! I can’t wait for CD #2 just for Eternal flame. But I can’t really listen to the music now because it always makes me teary thinking about it, and how it’s over :( BUT IT’S NOT OVER UNTIL I GET MY 3 LAST EPISODE-AND A MOVIE i hope!

Anyways I noticed that http://www.thepiemaker.com didn’t mention it either! Why was that???
    ———
You guys have no clue how bady I want to go to that Premier. I want it more than anything in the world! And it kills me because I only live 10 hours and 40 minutes away (mapquest) But I won’t be 16 until May:( And my parents don’t want to drive that far and then have to come back for school the next day. My friends and all are all dying to see those episodes-we’ve had like 7 PD parties! What sucks even more is the week before is SPRING BREAK. Why couldn’t they have scheduled PD for the week before, WHY!!! MY BIRTHDAY IS ONLY 23 DAYS AFTER THE SPECTACULAR PREMEIR!!!!!!!!!!
What bugs even more is it’s only $15.00, only $15.00 I can easily afford that!!!!!!!!!!!! AGONY!!!

I LOVE PUSHING DAISIES-I’VE BEEN WITH YOU FROM THE START!

Piemaker, do you have any clue when the DVD will be released??????????

  16. Pie>Cakeon 24 Feb 2009 at 4:23 am

Pie Lover- Yea, I’m having that problem too. :0

    Hmm…

  17. pamelaon 24 Feb 2009 at 10:58 am

yeah! finally! wish i was there…….

  18. Leonora619on 24 Feb 2009 at 9:59 pm

Yay! $12… now I can afford to bring a friend. It’s still sad though. The last time I saw Bryan at Paley I just wanted to hug him because I had that feeling of dread that it was all over… instead we all stayed chipper and he signed my DVD insert and gave me a pat on the shoulder. It was all very bittersweet. Weds. nights, pies, and daisies just haven’t been the same… a little colder, bitter, and dull… and Comic Con will be just a little less festive and one bag short at the WB section. I guess this is what they call closure.

  19. *Daisypusher*o9on 25 Feb 2009 at 3:10 pm

gosh… you are all SOOO lucky you live in america!! i live in scotland so have NO chance of getting to go…. it would have been a great present as well cause it’s on the day before my 15th birthday *U_U* oh well… have fun and please report back with updates.

  20. Luisaon 26 Feb 2009 at 12:10 pm

Hey guys, do you think the tickets will sell out to members? $15 is just too good to be true, I know with traveling expenses it’ll be a lot more, but OH SO WORTH IT for the (hopefully not!) last taste of PD we’re ever gonna get. But I’m reallllllly worried that those tickets will go fast and there’ll be nothing left on March 1st. What do you think? I’m almost thinking that additional $50 for membership (that’s where they get you) is worth it to secure a spot.

  21. leonora619on 26 Feb 2009 at 1:58 pm

There are 1000+ seats in the Cinerama Dome, and the cast isn’t even rumoured to attend. I’m sure there will be seats left by Sunday. I’ll have an extra ticket if my friend ends up going to Vegas. I’ll be willing to give it away if that should happen.

  22. Luisaon 26 Feb 2009 at 5:35 pm

On a completely unrelated note…I just got a package in the mail from Lifetime network. Remember back when we were sending letters to networks begging them to pick up PD, like in December? Or was I the only one?… Anyway, they sent me one of those generic thank-you-for-your-comments letters and a mug. A purple Lifetime mug.

I guess our voices were heard, after all.

  23. foreverfreakon 28 Feb 2009 at 3:11 pm

That’s really really unfair!!I’m from Greece so i can’t go to the Paley Fest…Am i supposed to wait for the season’s 2 dvd box set??

  24. Jenniferon 28 Feb 2009 at 8:52 pm

As of right now, tickets are still available for members, so you should be okay for tomorrow. I’d go early though.

  25. OCJennon 01 Mar 2009 at 2:28 pm

I’m going!! I got my tickets!! YAY!!

  26. Leonora619on 01 Mar 2009 at 4:38 pm

OCJenn lucky you. I just checked. It’s sold out. Wow I didn’t think it would sell out that quickly.

  30. OCJennon 02 Mar 2009 at 4:08 am

I’ll see you there Chuck! I got my tickets online @ 901 am PST this morning. I was freaked out I wouldn’t get them, I’m taking my friend who introduced me to the series, she’s super excited. From the plot descriptions it looks like it’ll be amazing!

  31. Mischa G.on 04 Mar 2009 at 12:12 pm

seems like no one really has noticed but.. the final three episodes gonna air in Germany tonight and next week.. it’s with a shitty dubbing and I’m not sure if I’m going to watch but I thought I should mention it…

  32. JanaBon 04 Mar 2009 at 3:12 pm

I do prefer the original english versions of tv shows, but I personally think our german dubbing of PD is still better than that of other shows… and I have seen ep 11 already, and you don’t want to miss it !

  33. Mischa G.on 04 Mar 2009 at 3:49 pm

naw it truely sucks like every other dubbing.. im still not sure if i’m gonna watch, half an hour .. dubbing is just so bad and unworthy but i don’t wanna stay behind.. i hate it!

  34. JanaBon 04 Mar 2009 at 3:58 pm

I totally understand, I guess I’m just getting somewhat used to it after all those years of watching too much tv…

  35. Mischa G.on 04 Mar 2009 at 4:05 pm

And I just can’t stand it anymore after all those years not watching any dubbing whatsoever ^^ where did you watch the episode before the broadcast?

  36. JanaBon 04 Mar 2009 at 5:57 pm

I rarely watch shows in german because I don’t like the dubbing as well, but in this case I thought it’s better than to wait a few months until they finally air in the states (if ever), or get released on DVD.

You can watch the episodes of a few selected shows as a special pay per view preview one week before the broadcast on maxdome (2,49 Euro before the broadcast, reduced price afterwards):

    http://www.maxdome.de/serie/pushing_daisies/

Unfortunately, for this show they only have the german version. For other shows like Lost or Desperate Housewives they also have the original english version.

  37. Mischa G.on 04 Mar 2009 at 6:26 pm

okay i’ve seen it now and it wasn’t thaaaat bad, but still .. you know.. anyway, thanks for the tip, too bad it isn’t english there either.

btw: wieso schreiben wir eigentlich nich nicht deutsch?! naja.. ^^

  38. Marleon 05 Mar 2009 at 5:43 am

So yesterday “Window dressed to kill” aired on German tv.
If anyone´s interested, I´ll put it online for download so you don´t have to pay for it - cause it´s only available in German.

To all of you who will be able to see Bryan at the Paley… pls. ask him if there´s any chance for a movie. I´m so sad that this wonderful show had to end!!
And pls. give him a big hug from me! ;-) I´m not a man… but anyway… a huge fan of the show. :-)

  39. Pie Loveron 05 Mar 2009 at 9:45 am

    Marle, I’M INTERESTED, I’M INTERESTED, HUGELY INTERESTED :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)!!!!!

  40. Marleon 05 Mar 2009 at 11:08 am

    @Pie Lover

    :-)

I´ll try to upload the episode this evening (have to cut the commercial first). I give you notice!

  41. Franon 05 Mar 2009 at 12:12 pm

Oh boy, I wouldn’t have thought that I’d say something like that one day but Germany was first this time *YAY* All the time we have to wait for AGES until a movie (”The Fall” is hopefully finally coming out some time this month) comes to the theaters and this time we get to watch something first.

If anyone downloads the episodes from Marle, please tell me what you think of the german voices ^^

  42. Luisaon 05 Mar 2009 at 12:19 pm

Germany!! You’re so lucky!!!!! Why Germany though, with a dubbing too, that’s random…
But nevertheless, I wonder if it’d be worth it to see now even though I’m going to PaleyFest…would it kinda ruin it, not being in English? I dunno. Nevertheless, I’d like to download it, and tempt myself! Thanks Merle!

  43. JanaBon 05 Mar 2009 at 1:44 pm

I don’t know… If you’ll go to PaleyFest, it’s probably better to wait… But I can totally understand how you must feel, if I would be in your situation I would probably download it anyway !

  44. Mischa G.on 05 Mar 2009 at 2:54 pm

If I was to go to the PaleyFest I would wait, definitely! The dubbing does suck, they put effort in it but still, it’s dubbed and that’s always wrong!

  45. Pie Loveron 05 Mar 2009 at 6:07 pm

    Thanks Marle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would totally wait, if I was going to the PaleyFest, well i’d like to tell myself i would :)!!! But I only live 10 hours and 40 minutes away and I would have totally bought tickets, but I don’t have a way to get there! AND I TURN GET MY DRIVER’S LICENCSE IN 2 MONTHS!!! If only i was born to months earlier!!!

  46. Marleon 05 Mar 2009 at 9:12 pm

If I had the chance to go to the Paley, I would try to wait!
It will be such a special day - watching all three episodes together with Bryan (and maybe some of the cast) and so many other PD Fans!
But I can understand that you want to take a glimpse ;-) ;-)

So here´s “Window dressed to kill”:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CIBRNDQ2

Enjoy it!!! - Though it´s German dubbed.

  47. Kellyon 05 Mar 2009 at 9:32 pm

If anyone is selling Paley tickets to the Pushing Daisies event, let me know! I need 2! I will buy them from you for more than you paid!

    e-mail me at kellysfair@hotmail.com!

  48. Pie Loveron 06 Mar 2009 at 12:23 am

I just finished watching IT!!!!!!! Haha it was amazing like always!!! Although I only understood the words, Snook, Olive, Emerson, Ned, and WOW! :) Also I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED when Olive sang, IT WAS IN ENGLISH!!!!!!! Anyways thanks Marle, It was fun to watch a new Pushing Daisies, I’ve been deprived of that since December 17 (The Norwegions). Even if I couldn’t understand 99/100ths of it, and the part right before Olive sang made me really angry, but I think I know why, even though i’m sure exactly what was going on!

I LOVE Anna with straight hair! Will they be showing the last 2 as well in Germany. What a night anyways, I’ll sleep GREAT tonight, that episode made my day, I looked forward to each new episode each week, intensly waiting. When Pushing Daisies was still on the weeks were the longest weeks of my entire life, and then Wednesday came and it was the longest day waiting for 7:00 to arrive-then it was the best nights of my life after watching a new GREAT episode thinking about what just happen and what’s going to happen night, as I started to wait for the next week.

Anyways that’s how I feel tonight and the fact that I couldn’t understand a word makes it even more thought provoking, and I might be able to hold over till the episodes air. OH I HOW I WISH I COULD GO TO THE PALEYFEST!!!! Any ways Y’ALL have a wondrous night.

    THANKS MARLE!!!

  49. Marleon 06 Mar 2009 at 6:41 am

I´ll record the last 2 episodes :-( next week and will upload them too.

    @Pie Lover
Well, I can´t translate the whole episode ;-) but if you need explanations what they said or meant in a certain situation, than let me know.

  50. Pie Loveron 06 Mar 2009 at 9:32 am

Thanks, that’s ok, I don’t need them translated at all, it was still very enjoyable and it will make it so when I see the episodes again when the air It will still be a great surprise even though I know half of the story!! I would LOVE to have the last 2 episodes as well next week, you’re AWESOME!

  51. Franon 06 Mar 2009 at 12:16 pm

@Mischa G.: Oh you are so right, the dubbing sucks totally!!! Especially when you know how the voices of the actors are supposed to sound!!!! Usually I watch movies in English and I wish we would have subtitles, but unfortunately we haven’t :(
Still, I kinda got used to the German voice of Ned so I got REALLY angry when I watched the first German Trailer of “The Fall”. They took another voice and it’s just HORRIBLE!!!! It ruins the whole movie !!!!!!
Well, part of me wants to know what will happen in the last two eps of PD, but the other part doesn’t want to because that means it’s the end… *sob*

  52. Leonora619on 06 Mar 2009 at 10:02 pm

Yay!!! I just received my tickets in the mail.

  53. OCJennon 06 Mar 2009 at 11:48 pm

I got my tickets in the mail today!! SO EXCITED!!!!

  54. foreverfreakon 07 Mar 2009 at 7:18 pm

Is there anyone who can make english subs for the episode 11 of PD??I would really appreciate that, because I don’t know a lick of German…!

  55. Marleon 09 Mar 2009 at 6:10 pm

    @foreverfreak
Pls. believe me, if I had a chance getting my hands on the English subs, I would send you the last 3 episodes in English. But… no chance so far. :-(
I much prefer the original sound and voices - but I´m not ungrateful. At least we get a chance to see the last episodes!

    @Fran

  56. Pie Loveron 09 Mar 2009 at 7:42 pm

Marle-Are you still planning on the last 2 Episodes on Wednesday. I would TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! Even in German. That would be awesome-I’m sooo looking forward to them.

  57. foreverfreakon 11 Mar 2009 at 10:17 am

    @Marle
There is no problem…I really thank you for the german episode and if you going to upload episode 11 and 12 too,i’ll download them for sure!!I just wondering if anyone has english subtitles…

  58. Marleon 11 Mar 2009 at 3:58 pm

    Hi my PD-lovers,

in 20 minutes the last 2 episodes will be aired.
I´ve opened a bottle of wine and I´m quite excited.
It will be bittersweet… VERY bittersweet. *sob*

    I´ll upload ep. 11 + 12 for you tomorrow!

  59. Pie Loveron 11 Mar 2009 at 5:05 pm

OMGOSH!!!!!! You have ABSOLUTELY NO clue how jealous I am right now. OHHHHHHHHHH! I so can’t wait until tomorrow! Thanks so much Marle!

  60. Pie Loveron 11 Mar 2009 at 5:11 pm

    P.S.
(sorry I also seem to re-post)

Marle if you happen to WANT to put them on tonight-We’re 7 hours behind here. So the episdoes will end there at like what, 11:15 at night :) So it will only be 4:15pm our time. If you just can’t sleep, and need to put them on, I’ll be here and I’ll check. :) If not, your still like AMAZING and I’ll wait a long day in anticipation.

  61. Marleon 12 Mar 2009 at 3:59 am

    Pie Lover,

sorry, but I had to re-record the last episode on 3 a.m. German time as there were interefrences in the first recording.
Right now I´m at work, so unfortunately you have to wait a little while… but it´s definately worth the while! :-)

    Can´t believe it´s over… :-( :-( :-(

But Bryan (sort of) left us a little message. Such a cutie! ;-)

Btw - THE FALL opens today in German cinemas!! I already saw it few months ago and it´s such a great, powerful and magical movie! :-)

  62. foreverfreakon 12 Mar 2009 at 7:59 am

I don’t know what to say…Marle you are really awesome!!I can’t wait…I want my pd right noooooow!!I think i’m the biggest Greek fan!!

  63. Marleon 12 Mar 2009 at 6:37 pm

Well, my last entry didn´t show up.

I made some caps - maybe it´s not allowed to link them?

I came home late and it needs a while to cut the ads and upload the episodes. I´m quite tired so for today there´ll be only episode 11.
    I´ll upload episode 12 tomorrow - I promise!
So you still have one more day left til it´s finally over… ;-)

    Have a great PD-time!

  64. foreverfreakon 12 Mar 2009 at 6:52 pm

  65. Pie Loveron 12 Mar 2009 at 7:34 pm

    CAN’T WAIT!!!

    THANKS SO MUCH MARLE!!!!!!!

  66. foreverfreakon 13 Mar 2009 at 7:14 pm

Will we have the last episode today??I know that takes a lot time to to cut the commercials and upload the episode, but i can’t wait…These show is relly a miracle!!

  67. Marleon 13 Mar 2009 at 8:55 pm

Okay, so here´s the final episode (in German) of Pushing Daisies.

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AWTYLGQ6

And this is the last sentence the Narrator says at the end:
“At this moment in Coer de Coer events happend that neither in the past, presence nor future should be seen as an end. Cause you know, the end is the beginning…”

    ;-)

Wow! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Wow! THANKS AGAIN MARLEY!! That ending wow, it was very bittersweet. And sudden, everything happened so fast. It is definitely an ideal FINALE, but…It was very rushed and abrupt. But they did amazing with their time frame. It was awesome. Even in German you get the concept, and wow! Wow, wow, wow!!! AMAZING!

Here’s the ending wrap up! If any are interested:

I´ve recorded and uploaded the last 3 episodes, cause I wanted to SHARE. Simply, because it makes me happy that the PD-Fans, who don´t get the chance to visit the Panel and watch the last episodes with Bryan, get a chance to watch the last 3 epsiodes too. Even though it´s in German.
If the last 3 episodes were aired somewhere else I would have been happy too if s.o. else whould have uploaded and shared them.

But PIEMAKERS - you just delete my posting with the download-links without telling why!

And suddenly you´re publishing infos, caps and dialoges from the last episodes. Although we already asked you several weeks ago to give us some hints…
It´s okay, cause I guess you were forced to take a move as we here in Germany got the chance to watch the last episodes before anyone else (except of you).

But I think it would have been fair to tell me why you delete or even don´t publish my posting (that one with the screen caps).

    Anyway, it´s over. PD´s over.
So this will be my last posting here too.

I wish you all a nice time at the Panel!
