Alright kids, the Pushing Daisies pre-Emmy buzz machine keeps spitting out news. Stay here for all of the latest and greatest on our Pushing Daisies Emmy Watch!
- New! Kristin Chenoweth makes it onto the shortlist for the Best Comedy Actress category for her work in “Girth“. Congrats Cheno!
- New! Although the top ten finalists in for Best Comedy Actor have not been officially released, it’s being reported that Lee Pace has made it on the list.
- Anna Friel makes it onto the shortlist for the Best Comedy Actress category for her work in “Bitter Sweets“. It’s not official until July 17th so keep your fingers crossed. Congrats Anna!
- Last week we announced that Pushing Daisies is up for Best Comedy.
Still no word on the Best Comedy Actor or Supporting Actor races yet so we’re still holding out hope that Cheno, Chi McBride and obviously our boy Lee Pace will pull out some noms as well.
*Don’t forget that Kristin Chenoweth will be joining Neil Patrick Harris on July 17th 8:40 am/ET to announce the official nominees for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards.

do laptops play all region DVDs or so you have to have the Region DVD player???? anyone know

It has been my experience that my laptop will play multiple regions of DVDs for a very limited time and then a dialogue box comes up and says something like “If you play this DVD one more time, this computer will only be able to play that region of DVD FOREVER, mmkay?”

Lee-pace.org is reporting that he made the shortlist for best actor in a comedy series! Yay!

Unfortunately, Chi got snubbed.
Also, I don’t know if official lists of the acting categories will be released because (also according to goldderby):
“ATAS did divulge the two Top 10 lists of semifinalists in the races for comedy and drama series this year. Hooray. That’s a good start, but, strangely, it then issued a statement insisting that it won’t reveal any more Emmy info.”
YAY to the show, Cheno, Lee and Anna!! This time they had better take home some awards, and I want to see some hot awards show dresses! (Ok, maybe not on Lee - though he did get my fire burning in Soldier’s Girl).
