PUSHING DAISIES Gets A Girl Named Charlie
We know we have Charlotte Charles - a girl named Chuck on PUSHING DAISIES, but will we also have a girl named Charlie? Kind of. Our friends over at E! Online are reporting that Jayma Mays who played Hiro’s waitress love, Charlie, on HEROES as well as Henry’s girlfriend (also named Charlie) on UGLY BETTY will be a guest on the fourth episode of PUSHING DAISIES…but she won’t be named Charlie (at least we hope not).
Jayma Mays will actually play “Elsita, a woman who leads a life of windmillery (she lives and works in a windmill)”, according to E!. Hey, as long as she doesn’t play someone who catches the eye of Ned the Pie Maker, we are ok with it.
Doesn’t she look like she would fit in in PUSHING DAISIES?
And in the screenshot lifted from Ugly Betty, the sunflower’s facing Charlie. It’s a sign! Sunflowers, daisies, they’re all the same.
I love Jayma Mays- she’s so perky.

As an actual girl who goes by both Charlie and Chuck, it is SO nice to have more than the girl in Firestarter and some perfume commercials to share my name. Girls named Chuck/Charlie might not be common, but it’s so boring to have the same names on TV all the time.
