PUSHING DAISIES Is America (Online’s) Favorite New Show
While the TCA nominations are the real reason to celebrate tonight, this honor just rolled in as well. PUSHING DAISIES is America’s Favorite New Show according to a recent AOL poll.

After a U.S. prime-time television season notable for its lack of breakout hits, the supernatural fantasy “Pushing Daisies” emerged as the favorite new show of viewers in an AOL poll released on Tuesday.
The ABC series about a pie-maker possessing the power to bring the dead back to life with a single touch — and to dispatch them again with a second touch– ranked as the best new TV show among 24 percent of survey respondents.
What I want to know is how come I didn’t know about this poll so I could have voted over and over again. Congrats DAISIES.
I have to agree we need to work hard as PD fans to get the show a major fall turnout. Does anyone know if DVDs are universal. I don’t want to wait for the US PD DVD release and I was wondering if I could just get the british version and play it on our DVD players. Anyone know??????
DVD’s are not universal. They are coded by region. The UK DVD will not play on a US Region 1 dvd player but you can buy all regions DVD players for super cheap and those will play anything you want.
