The Pushing Daisies “Pie-lette” ratings: 12.83 million
*Update from Media Life Magazine: The 8 p.m. Wednesday timeslot may finally have its dominant show. Last night’s highly anticipated debut of the quirky new ABC drama “Pushing Daisies” pulled strong numbers, far outdistancing the competition among adults 18-49 in a timeslot with two other new programs.
“Daisies” averaged a 4.2 in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen overnights, easily winning its 8 p.m. slot.
Fantastic news! Looking forward to seeing the ratings for next week to see if the audience grows from all the great buzz.
awesome. this may be the first time that the “little show that could”, actually DID! From the time I heard about the show, I knew I would love it and that meant it was doomed to massive network mishandling and a quick cancellation. hopefully these #’s stay strong and I am proven wrong.
I really enjoyed the show. I had to tell all my friends about it and can’t wait to see the next eposide!
