I had some pretty weird dreams last night after watching this one.
Umm kay now I’m confused.
Who is that supposed to be? Ned’s dad?
OMG Chuck’s dad????
NO WAY!!!!! But why? Who dies instead?
Nobody dies. Ned’s mom already paid the price. A rule Ned didn’t know. That’s my guess. Reviving Ned’s mom killed Chuck’s dad. Her re-death should have made his revival possible without consequence and he could have been alive all these 20 years. But Ned didn’t know that rule.

Apparently, re-animation even after decomposition for 20 years doesn’t cause any pain. Maybe all he has to worry about is parts falling off at this point….errr….
KellyH-Wait, so basically whoever would die as a consequence of Ned bringing someone else back would be able to live again without consequences?
I’ve a theory too, sort of. It’s kinda gross, but if they were in a cemetery anyway, they could bring back Chuck’s dad, then some other dead person, the dead person could die again (provided everyone else living is far, far away), and yay, Charles Charles lives!
Crazy stuff. Does anyone know about ratings yet??
Right on! Charles Charles lives again! This should be a unique Chuck and Ned interaction for that episode.
Luisa–let’s be clear. Someone who dies as a result of Ned bringing back somebody for more than a minute can live again without consequence IF the person who was originally brought back (and ONLY that person, in this case Ned’s mom) is re-deaded by Ned or otherwise killed again. Chuck could have given her life back to Lawence Schatz. Ned was wrong about that and did not want Chuck to die again for Schatz, so he either lied about it or just didn’t know that it worked that way.
What would happen if too alive again people touched? Would Ned die :-O!
Well, I can’t imagine that Chuck and her dad won’t touch, so guess we’ll get to test that theory.
O-M-G Charles Charles! What is Chuck going to do? He’s obviously not going back into the ground. Awwww how sweet though!
um chuck has pet digbee before and no one died and she touched pidge! i am confused…
There is soo many unanswered questions here! Why did Ned even bring him back to life? Is something really important happening between him and Chuck? Is something wrong with Chuck?

I don’t think that if two alive-again person touched, Ned would die… well chuk hugs and kisses Digby all time right? so… if heard that this will bring even more trouble to Chuck’s and Ned’s relationship instead of helping, it’ll be so so funny!!!
I’m waiting for the day they figure a that Chuck and Ned can touch…i mean i know that its the show and the only time they will be able to touch will be when the show ends…which i hope is a long way away but i just want them to be able to…its sad that they love each other and can’t even hug!!!!!
Hey…here’s a thought…maybe after a certain amount of time…
just like Ned having only ONE MINUTE, before the brought-back-
to-life person has to die again, or someone else will die;
…of being dead, like Chuck’s father, the dead could live again. Maybe, let’s say, after one year or so!!!! of being dead by “accident”, that person could live for as long as they were originally supposed to, say 10, 20 or 30 years!!! Then Ned could also bring back his mom and any other person that he sees fit!!!!
Of course, the “re-born” would have to keep hiding, as not to let the world know that they are back! What fun things could happen to them!!!
And Ned would be learning new things about his “gift”!!! The story lines would be endless and this show COULD go on and on, for a long time!!!! Those writers are the talented , “GIFTED” ones!!!!!!
Let’s everyone SAVE this show! Remember what happened with the tv show “Cheers”, where everyone knows your name?
The “people in charge” wanted to cancel it too, after only a short period of time and the viewers wrote in and they didn’t cancel it. Well….”Cheers” went on, for a total of: ELEVEN!!!!!
seasons! Wouldn’t it be just GREAT if Pushing Daisies, could last that long????? YES IT WOULD!!!!!!
I just LOVE everything about this show!! The CHILDREN, are so cute and talented too, like their grown up actors!!!! The chemistry between ALL the actors is fantastic!!!! The beautiful clothes they all wear; it’s a delight for the eyes!!! I could go on and on; you get the point: SAVE THIS SHOW!!!!
