The Latest PUSHING DAISIES Spoilers

We might only have one more show left of our beloved PUSHING DAISIES until the end of the writers strike, but that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate on some upcoming storylines, right?
According to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos, Ned’s big revelation to Chuck that he killed her father might not be such a big deal if we find out that Chuck’s father (and perhaps mother) are still among the living? Check out this latest Q&A:
Justin in Malibu: I’m dying, dying, dying over your Pushing Daisies scoop from your last show (click here to watch)! Chuck’s father might be alive?! What about her mother? What can you tell me? That show is so good, it’s just amazing.
Kristin: Watch the Vine show if you haven’t yet, and then let the guessing begin…Could Chuck’s mother be alive? Whom could she be? All I know is that this is certainly not the end of Ned and Chuck, but the rest of the season is about as bumpy as my skin was when I was 13. (Translation: Not pretty.) There’s lots o’ drama coming their way! And yes, the parental stuff is most certainly the biggest root of it.
So Pie Maker’s, what are we thinking? I’m of the thought that Chuck’s mother could be none other than Aunt Lily, but what about her dad? Could it be that perhaps the father who raised her was not really her biological father meaning her real father is out there somewhere?
Let’s dish…what do you think of this possible scoop?

I’m of the thought that while I think it’s possible Aunt Lily is Chuck’s biomom… I pray it’s not so. I just don’t want it to be that incestuous. And I don’t mean like Chuck’s Father slept with his sister or something, I just mean it keeps it all too conveniently close to the family they’ve created ON THE SHOW.
Maybe Chuck forces Ned to touch her Father? Now there’s something!
who will tell chuck about her biological father? her aunts? Emerson? i get so excited every time i watch PD..

I think that it’s quite possible that Lily has had her “illness” her whole life and her daughter (Chuck) was raised by her brother, meaning Chuck’s biological father could still be alive.
Interesting scoop if it’s true.
I’m sure whether Dad is really her biological parent or not won’t change Chuck’s feeling upon learning that Ned accidentally inadvertently killed him!
However…if there is a deeper mystery to Chuck’s parentage…it does add more layers of intrigue to the series!! I’m all for that.
I definitely thought one of the aunts could be Chuck’s real mom, and I think Aunt Lily is the obvious choice. This would mean, of course, that if Aunt Lily is Chuck’s real mother, that her father would not be the guy “accidentally involuntarily manslaughtered” by Ned, but he would be out there somewhere. Oooh!
I’m sad that Ned and Chuck’s relationship will be “bumpy” for the rest of the season (if we get a rest of the season! I prefer to think positive…), but I think it will shake things up a bit, and then when they get back to being all lovey dovey sweet, we’ll really be desiring it!
I’m not sure I like the idea of her parents being still alive. I know it would be nice for her, but it seems to be a little much for me. If her biological father (in that possible scenerio) didn’t want her when she was a baby, why on earth would she want him when she’s an adult. I think the storyline would be so much more interesting if her mother was just a wonderful sister mourned by Lily and Vivian. Maybe Chuck never really knew what happened to her.
OMGosh this is getting me so excited!! If chuck’s father is still alive this will be crazy!! And Aunt Lily being neds mother!! That really does explain certain things I’ve seen from past episodes like her freaking out over Oliver asking who’s sweater is this and aunt lily saying ” it belonged to chuck’s mother and … she died!” But how do we explain “the darling mermaid darlings”, people have known them for many years! Aunt Lily and Vivian were at the funerals. But maybe Ned didn’t know chuck’s aunts or that (if aunt lily is really his mom) was even standing over at chuck’s fathers funeral! But wouldn’t ned recognize his own mother or even her voice. Aunt Lily and vivian might also be a bit older then neds mother. But what about her eye!!??? Maybe it’s fake!! But if Aunt Lily is ned’s mom why would she go about hiding? OMG this gets me so excited!!! We’ll all just have to keep looking for clues!! Tell people all about it!!! What do you guys think! Who knows maybe it’s not even aunt lily!! For some reason I don’t think it could be.
Oops I think I just made a big booboo!! I said that aunt lily might be ned’s mother!! Oops I mean she could be chuck’s mother!! You guys all know what I meen!! So if her father is still alive this could meen that her father really never died or that man that collapsed in the front yard of chuck’s home was never really her father. But if aunt Lily is her mother why would she go around as her aunt?? I’m really confused!!
If Chuck’s dead father isn’t really her father, it won’t change her feelings. She still thought of him as her father and loved him and would still be upset by the recent revelation. Like when I child is adopted. Sometimes they don’t even want to find their biological parents, because they consider their adoptive parents to be their one and onlys. And if it came to choosing between the two, they would probably have the greater connection with the parents that raised them. Even though Chuck’s dad only raised her for like seven years…..
Sigh.
Worst. Plot twist. Ever.
I agree. I don’t like that option at all, and quite frankly, I hope the writer’s don’t either. It’s been overdone and I honestly think it would be the ruining of the show.
