When Will PUSHING DAISIES Final Episodes Air?

Published by The Pie Maker at 7:26 pm under Pushing Daisies News

If you choose to hold your breath until ABC opts to air the final three episodes of PUSHING DAISIES then you best have Ned by your side to wake you from the dead.  According to a report on E!, ABC insiders say that the final three eps will most likely not air until June at the earliest. Bad news for all us feelings the void on Wednesday nights.

Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that ABC airs them at all.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A REPORT PIEMAKER!!! now…

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!…

I’m sick and tired of this. Can they please just release the DVD and forget showing them on TV. I WANT THEM NOW! Please put them online or something. ABC is just stupid, GRRRRRRRRRRRR….WE THE PEOPLE ARE DYING TO SEE THEM! I wouldn’t even mind if they just played them ALL on Saturday morning at 3:00AM Just freakin’ show them. I’m usually calm and nice I’ve never sworn in my life but this just makes me ANGRY!

PLEASE SHOW THEM, OR LEAK THEM PLEASE ABC!
(or you’ll have lost a big fan!) anyone else???

  2. kristinloveron 15 Jan 2009 at 8:35 pm

im with ya this is just wrong on soooo many levelz why do they does this abc fed this 1 up big time i feel like screming

  3. Katieon 15 Jan 2009 at 8:59 pm

I’ve tried writing this comment a few different times here, and everything just comes out either really whiny or overly angry.

ABC, why keep us on this evil seesaw of doom and despair? Air the episodes or release the DVD. Personally, I’d be more happy with the latter, because that would mean I’d get to watch Legend of Merle McQuoddy in blue ray.

  4. Lyddiegalon 15 Jan 2009 at 9:02 pm

June? How absurd is that? They could have aired three hours of pushing daisies yesterday rather than three hours of lost re-runs (its not as if everyone wasn’t watching american idol anyway)!

i’m very upset with the way abc has been handling their canceled shows, treating the fans like we don’t matter. If abc doesn’t show these episodes i’m going to have to swear off watching any new shows they air forever more, just like i’ve done with fox (after they canceled wonderfalls) I don’t miss fox at all.

  5. Reneeon 15 Jan 2009 at 9:44 pm

What? WHAT?! WTF????? Seriously, just release the freakin’ dvd already.

  6. Martin McPhersonon 15 Jan 2009 at 9:59 pm

I think a serious option is an all-out boycott of ABC and Disney, and getting any shows or movies through p2p and torrents. Disney for it’s pushing for cancellation in the first place, and ABC for it’s difficulty with the remaining episodes and general poor treatment of us as fans. We deserve better!

  7. Jesson 15 Jan 2009 at 10:24 pm

What!!?? JUNE!!!! are u freakin kidding me? I can’t wai that long! Even with American Idol and LOST to fill the void, it’s juts not the same. Whynot air them now and get it over with? NO ONE excpet avid PD fans will rember its on, and I doubt they’ll advertise! GRRR ABC u frustrate the hell outta me!

  8. Niaon 16 Jan 2009 at 2:11 am

“Oh, helll no!” I LOVE PUSHING DAISIES! I hate repeating myself but “Oh, helll no!” They need to at least air the rest of the season. We just found out that Ned’s father was actually the one that saved him and Olive…. hows that a good ending? “Oh, helll no!”

  9. Leonora619on 16 Jan 2009 at 2:29 am

If it helps I got my toes crossed too!

  10. Digbyon 16 Jan 2009 at 4:21 am

Thanks for the scoop, Piemakers - seriously, ABC, just release the DVD already. The powers-that-be (really difficult to refrain from profanity - is calling them “sons of whores” too obscene for this site?) made a mistake in cancelling the show and they KEEP making bad decisions. Seriously, what’s the point of waiting until June? They won’t get any higher ratings then, because PD will have fallen so far from anyone’s radar but ours, the PD geek-squad.

  11. answerispieon 16 Jan 2009 at 8:57 am

This is just cruel. I wait every single week just waiting for these shows to come out. Pushing Daisies is one of the few shows playing in the modern world that is not complete trash, and I hate that they are keeping these episodes from us! ABC really should consider the few fans who truly did support this show by letting us see the final episodes. I don’t care HOW, WHEN, OR WHERE they get these episodes out to the public, but I know we all want to know the end to this fabulous show. It’s one thing to take it away, but don’t they at least have the decency to let us know how it ends????

  12. Marleon 16 Jan 2009 at 10:38 am

Hi, I´m from Germany and the show´s to be seen on the German channel Pro7. The 2nd season just started few days ago. I´ve asked Pro7 if they will be able to show the last 3 episodes and they told me, that they will, if they get the episodes right on time.
So I hope ABC will deliver promptly so that Pro7 can synchronize them (unfortunately all foreign tv shows are synchronized into German).
I am ready to share the episodes with you if we get to see them in Germany before any other country. Which I honestly doubt. But hey, let´s hope - if we´re lucky we get to see them in April ;-)

  13. Brittonon 16 Jan 2009 at 10:44 am

Even though this news pretty much blows, thanks for keeping us updated. It’s better than getting your hopes up and then being let down every week. How can ABC just give up like this? They’re not even trying. You’d think since they’re yanking it from the airwaves (and our lives) so mercilessly that they’d at least have the decency to act like these last episodes are somewhat important. I know if Grey’s Anatomy were getting cancelled (don’t mean to offend any Grey’s fans here, it’s just an example), ABC would be advertising the last episodes during every commercial break, every day.

    End rant.

  14. Jaunellon 16 Jan 2009 at 4:19 pm

    Why June?
Wow ABC, way to really screw us over. Maybe I just don’t understand the television world, but how does airing it in June benefit anyone? And if they’re going to wait that long, why not release it to DVD already?! Now not only are we going to wait to see how it ends, we’re going to have to wait even longer to buy our own copies. This is not the news I wanted to hear. =(

  15. Kimberon 16 Jan 2009 at 8:07 pm

Wow. Just when I thought this couldn’t get worse. I had heard rumours the remaining episodes could wait until summer, but … seriously, ABC? That’s just not right at all. There ARE fans out there, you know, and we want to see the rest of our beautiful show!

Thanks for the update, Pie Maker(s), it’s much appreciated, though depressing.

  16. 3.14...on 16 Jan 2009 at 8:16 pm

Oh how I love updates, Thank you so much Piemaker! I really appreciate it when you post new news!!!

And ABC why? Just why? There are fans that really want to see them, my WHOLE family and ALL my friends included! I don’t see why you just don’t play them and be done, if you really want to let go of one of the best and most captivating original shows ever.

  17. veronicaon 16 Jan 2009 at 8:35 pm

ABC stinks, sucks, and agh!!! I don’t have enough words to discribe my anger!!! I’d love to be able to do something form over here but it’s not possible for me to help the raiting or anything I couldn’t even send my pie!!! or the daisies I’m so freaking sad and mad!!! won’t watch ABC ’til PD is aired!!!

  18. Daisyon 16 Jan 2009 at 11:34 pm

They should just not even bother airing the last episodes, just release the dvd. They would make more in sales now then next year, when everyone but us will have forgotten about it. I want Pushing Daisies!!! Stupid motherf*ckers at ABC.

  19. Anjelineon 17 Jan 2009 at 3:06 am

Wow.. I’m not even surprised anymore. ABC keeps screwing us over. They already cancelled the show, so why keep us waiting? I swear these people have no conscience.

  20. Franon 17 Jan 2009 at 8:10 am

Marle, that was my idea too^^ Woher genau kommst du?
Okay, but now back to the point: Guys, I’m suffering with you. Like Marle already said, the second season just startet in Germany and I REALLY hope that we get to see ALL of the episodes!!!! *crossing fingers and toes*
But you know what? I know somebody from a synchronizing studio, perhaps I could ask if I could get the original episodes somehow….I mean, if they air them earlier in Germany.
I can’t believe that all this is happening. I mean, when you think about that directors show the fans their scripts and THEY get to decide who will play the lead role (as happened in “Terminator 4″)!! Why is it , that we can’t do anything about the shows we love being cancelled???
FUDGE THEM!!! I’m seriously mad about that!!

  21. Andreaon 17 Jan 2009 at 4:56 pm

No indication when the 2nd series will be shown here in England. Can’t believe Germany will be ahead of the game!
I am seriously suffering PD withdrawal!!!
Don’t really get it with ABC. Why not show the remaining episodes, especially when they already have been filmed, edited etc. Commercially not very clever.

  22. Camon 17 Jan 2009 at 5:22 pm

Pushing Daisies season 2 will begin to air in England from Friday 30th January 2009 on ITV 1 at 10.00pm

    obsurd time i know

so does that mean the uk will see episodes 11-13 before the us????

  23. Reneeon 18 Jan 2009 at 12:38 am

Probably…unless none of us get to see them until the Season 2 dvd comes out. That’s bullocks!

  24. Daisiesruleson 18 Jan 2009 at 6:53 pm

What do they have against this series? Why must they hurt the fans so much? I will never watch ABC ever again, the only time I started watching anything on ABC was for this wonderful show. May they go under and rot in hell.

  25. pushingdaisieslover12on 18 Jan 2009 at 10:02 pm

You’ve got 2 be kidding me. They might not even SHOW them?!? Its bad enough that its getting cancelled (WAH!!!) but we won’t be able to see them until June. That just isn’t right. I swear I have a couple of things to say to abc…

  26. Hilaryon 19 Jan 2009 at 1:49 pm

    This baffles me.

Why can’t ABC seem to make a concrete decision? Since October they’ve had us all on a yo-yo string, tugging at our emotions and feelings towards the show. It’s been up and down, “Don’t lose hope yet!” and then they can’t even say it’s over, but it’s implied. To be honest, I don’t want them to air the final episodes by ‘June at the earliest’. Just slap the three last episodes on a DVD and allow its fans to enjoy at their convenience. Not to mention they’ve plucked the free episodes from their site for any point of reference to those who might hear about it and want to get a taste of it before they march to the store and buy it. It’s obvious to all the fans that ABC has done -nothing- for this show’s revival and now they can’t even give it a proper sendoff…

    Shame on you, ABC.

  27. Allyon 19 Jan 2009 at 9:09 pm

You can’t even watch any season 2 episodes online on abc.com anymore. Like, not only will they not finish airing the season, but they can’t even let us go back and watch it again. I freaking hate abc!

  28. Katieon 20 Jan 2009 at 11:06 am

Well, you guys are NOT going to be happy.

According to a recent report, ABC is not going to air the episodes. At all. Of any of the canceled shows. Including PD. They’re saying they MIGHT put them online if they can get the right papers signed, but an official statement has been made that they WILL NOT AIR THE EPISODES ON TV.

OMG KATIE YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FREAKING KIDDING ME!
    i HATE ABC.
that’s not fair! we’ve waited for too long, and they gave us hope that they’ll air the remaining THREE episodes..
    now they’re saying they WONT!?!
what is wrong with these people?
they simply love people hating them.

  30. Reneeon 21 Jan 2009 at 9:02 pm

Seriously?! I mean they just said last week that they’d aired them on television in June at the earliest…now it’s only online?! Boo-urns.

  31. Oliviaon 21 Jan 2009 at 11:20 pm

this looks really grim, lets hope that we get to see them at all.

  32. Katieon 22 Jan 2009 at 10:02 am

Yup, and to add to the crap, Austellio said we should except the episodes sometime between never and when hell freezes over D:

  33. Jesson 22 Jan 2009 at 12:08 pm

Ugg never and when hell freezes over? I oficially hate ABC!
And whats this about only going to be airing online? I can’t accesss the ABC player cause im canadian, so i get the videos from quickflicksnow instead and put them on my realplayer. They better not just air them in the site, we aren’t all friggin american!!!

Go suck balls ABC (sry if thats too offensive)

  34. kristinloveron 22 Jan 2009 at 1:04 pm

exusemy while i shoot them all downt here evil ***** Not only do i not get to see al my friends and be stuck in this stupid hospitle room now i have nooo hope for pushing daisies at ALL. Lol on a funny not i just yelled U HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME and the docter came running in!

  35. adamon 22 Jan 2009 at 3:55 pm

i dont know if anyone posted this or not but…
did anyone notice on abc.com that pushing daisies is NOT on their show list anymore?????????

    I’m so PISSED OFF!!!

  36. Anjelineon 22 Jan 2009 at 8:02 pm

Wow… Adam, it’s like PD never existed. >:O!!

  37. Digbyon 22 Jan 2009 at 11:00 pm

So, who owns the episodes? I mean, is it up to ABC to put out the DVDs or do they belong to Warner Bros. or someone else? I’m seriously hoping it’s NOT up to ABC. Anyone know how that works?

  38. Sonnyon 23 Jan 2009 at 1:44 am

This is such BS. Why don’t they just put them up on ABC.com for the fans to see how, then air them on tv whenever they end up?

  39. the8treluvon 23 Jan 2009 at 12:27 pm

I don’t know if anyone noticed but on IMDB they have 22 episodes for season 2, not 13. One of my buddies works in the production company and the original contract ABC renewed them for was a 22 episode season 2. When the ratings didn’t pick up, the network pulled out the funding for the other 13 episodes.

So not only will they probably not show the final 3 produced shows, there’s half a seasons worth of mapped out (and possibly partially filmed) episodes that will not ever happen. At least Mr. Fuller and the staff have a good start for the feature or comic book to finish the story.

  40. ashon 23 Jan 2009 at 3:05 pm

….. let’s be real here though, people, they were just gonna finish it in a comic book…. I’m happy we get to see them AT ALL

….even if the company is ruining any chance daisies had by postponing till…… JUNE> I don’t get that.

  41. Franon 24 Jan 2009 at 2:33 pm

Oh my!! I’m not on for a few days and then this?!!! WHAT THE FUDGE?!!!
I realy hope they just put the final episodes on DVD and that’s it. And I just can’t believe that ABC is so stupid cuz with a behavior like this they gonna loose many fans!!!!

….or better, they already lost all of us am I right?

  42. chuck_wannabeon 24 Jan 2009 at 3:14 pm

Let’s just face it……ABC IS RETARDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can’t they grasp the fact that P.D. is the BESTEST show ever! They better relaease the final episodes soon! BTW my dad works at Saks 5th Avenue and one of his workers in the cosmetics department got to work on Anna Friel!!!!!!!! She said she is REALLY nice yay! Also whenever I go to Target or Blockbuster and I see season 1 I move it to the front of the store! One time I even saw someone pick it up and purchese it! :O Try it sometime! If enough pepople start buying the season it might convince ABC to come to thier sences! :)

  43. Freddieon 24 Jan 2009 at 9:42 pm

    wtf… whhyyyy? :( :( :( :(

  44. Reneeon 25 Jan 2009 at 6:50 pm

Let’s just hope retailers that sell dvds and blue rays actually have at LEAST one copy of season one readily available. That’s not a bad idea, though, chuck_wannabe! V clever of you. *~_^*
Any Lee Pace sitings? Man! I have GOT to move out to that coastline if I’m ever going to find myself a celeb boyf! Heh!

  45. Reneeon 25 Jan 2009 at 6:59 pm

Oh! By the by, I favorited the ABC.com site for Pushing Daisies before Season 2 began. I still have the page, but, you’re right, if you go looking for the show through the website, you can’t. So, here’s the link to the site. Even though it’s true that you can’t watch full episodes anymore, they still show clips from season 2 episodes and have other extras available. I hope this helps some of your withdrawls. *a_a*

  46. Karen C.on 25 Jan 2009 at 9:36 pm

I am so distraught by this. This was the little gem of a show that when everything in the world was wrong I could have Wednesday from 8 to 9 pm to forget. It is so sad when it is critically acclaimed, emmy nominated, emmy winning and it still doesn’t matter to tv execs who don’t have a clue about TV. We need ths bright beacon at these dark times but I guess we have to have shows that keep us scared like Border Patrol and Flashpoint. Crap like that shouldn’t see the light of day. I am going to write USA and ask them to pick it up. They have great shows like Psyched, Burn Notice, etc so I hope we can get a campaign going. ABC you are so stupid..you blew it!

  47. Karen C.on 25 Jan 2009 at 9:39 pm

Oh and this also sucks since they hired George Hamilton to play his dad… boy did ABC really miss the boat.

  48. Mich Verrieron 29 Jan 2009 at 9:08 pm

Hi alll. I agree that ABC Really screwd up when they canseld PD. Now the only good show I watch through the week is House and my wednesday nights are not the same with out Ned and the Gang to fill them up. I tern on ABC Every week since the last ep aird hoping to hear the pd music and nothing. Dam ABC To Hell for canseling one of the best shows on TV. It was also the only show that I watched relidggisley I never missed a episode. Eather show the last 3 eps or releace the DVD Since that would stop the Wating at least.

  49. Jer Son 11 Feb 2009 at 1:20 pm

As soon as Pushing Daisies first aired, I fell head-over-heels for it. Here was a show that was incredibly unique, witty, and charming; a true modern fairytale. When I found out it was being cancelled, I was extremely heartbroken! It’s complete and total BS that ABC promised to air the remaining episodes and now they’re not doing so until June? Are you kidding me? I don’t understand how there are all these trashy shows out there and apparently “doing well”, while shows like PD are being canceled. I used to LOVE Grey’s Anatomy, but haven’t watched it since Season 2 because it completely SUCKS anymore.. and yet it’s still on. I also used to enjoy watching Men In Trees, but ABC axed that last season. I know I’m ranting, but honestly, how can they treat their viewers like this? I’m through with ABC.

  50. Darrellon 16 Feb 2009 at 4:47 pm

I just bought season 1 on Blu-Ray after buying it awhile back on DVD. I know that’s pretty innefectual in the scheme of things, but I’m nothing if not a dreamer…

  51. Jasonon 18 Feb 2009 at 12:03 am

ABC is fucking stupid as shit. A bunch of Bush ass suckers. Now instead of quality entertainment they throw some Homeland Security propaganda shit in our faces. Drop dead ABC. You were headed in the right direction, where the hell did you go so wrong? I hope an earthquake swallows up the whole studio and returns it back to hell where it belongs.

  52. Angeloson 05 Mar 2009 at 6:26 pm

I am just informing you guys, that the final 3 episodes are already being aired in Germany.

I am just a junkie like you all, and since I am no German I always downloaded the episodes to watch them original.

Disappointed with the whole delay I forgot all about it.
UNTIL TODAY, when I saw a trailer of the next episode on TV.

Prosieben is the name of the sender. Tomorrow they air the next episode.

    ABC sucks!

  53. Pie Hoon 18 Mar 2009 at 11:22 pm

Ugh…Wednesday night seems so lack luster since the departure of PD. I’d like to bop the “son of a motherless goat” that decided to axe the show in the head. I really miss Daisies.

  54. Paulon 30 May 2009 at 4:41 pm

Just noticed by accident that there is a new episode of Pushing Daisies on tonight May 30th. Looks like they are finally going to show the last three episodes.

  55. Jonathanon 21 Dec 2009 at 7:42 am

    I MISS THIS SHOW :(

i want it to come back

there has to be a way…?
